I also think sony should keep the sensor on the side. the positioning makes it convenient for unlocking with one hand and without having to pick up the phone. the back sensor seems awkward to me. i would like sony to place glass over their power button/sensor to ensure scratching doesn't occur and affect the sensing abilities. it might help reading fingerprints with wet fingers as well. I have trouble sometimes but it depends just how wet my fingers are.
i look forward to seeing what sony comes up with this year. I hope they really push hard and shove the best tech possible into their flagship and give people nothing to complain about.
@xperiajunkie - great pics! very impressive lowlights
ALSO - i came across this youtube vid by chance. it's very interesting and decided to give it a try and damn it works great. depending on what you're using the photo for, the lower the MP the better when it comes to low light and scene selection in manual mode seems spot on!

Tried to take some nice videos during the The Weekend concert in Stockholm. Really good picture, really good sound, but the camera overheated every 1-2 mins so it was impossible to take any proper videos... Got so angry I almost threw it away. HD @ 60fps |

that sucks.
i don't think i've had that problem but i honestly haven't recorded too much video.
at least for long periods of time.
Sony's just telling you to stop looking at your screen and enjoy the concert with your eyes. experience it! better that way anyway

Just done a quick test with my XZ with a recording at 1080p @60fps and it went to 15 mins without any issues at all. I've taken a screen shot to show the length of the video and the file size too.
I'm so happy 'cause today I've found my friends ... They're in my head

Moogoo,
ME too.... Mee too.
Actually I know I'm going too. Who am I kidding. I'm thinking to get between $400 - $430. Idk.... And it's currently $650 usd at Clove which usually goes down with them. "I" can pay that difference with no buyers remorse.

i can pay the difference too, but i am still curious about battery life. looking forward to finding more though. it's a shame that the MWC version they had was so early many people couldn't really test it.
as for my XZ, it is holding up really well. i have no damage or scratches. I'm glad i got the little gel case so now i'll be able to sell it for the best price possible.

Wholeheartedly agree with everything you said.
Zero blemishes here as well. I just wish with Sony announcements that there isn't these huge grace period before its released. They are certainly much better than in the past. I remember the times they would announce and then 6 months later release. Oh well though, obviously I'm still a fan.

Somebody seriosuly screwed USB OTG functionality.
I mean copying 138MB from internal drive to USB takes like 10 minutes?
C'mon!

What?
you mean from your phone's internal memory via USB to a computer?

Hmm.
OTG = On The Go.
You know this term?
I talk about transfer from the phone to the USB Stick mounted to the phone.
It used to be quite seamless, now it's a disaster.
