It seem work slightly differently on the Pro version than on the non-pro version. Due to the HW keyboard all SE's own apps seem to work both in landscape as well as portrait mode on the Pro. On the non-pro version they only work in portrate mode, at least with SW revision 1.0.A.1.38 (there is a newer revision out, but not available to everyone).

But on the picture which I linked it's the X10 mini (on the right; not the pro version) where it works in landscape mode.
Also when you rotate your X10 mini and after that you enter the messaging menu don't you see it's fading for a second (like it was trying to rotate but it can't)?

You are right. But as I said, there is newer SW version out where this may be fixed.

Nothing unusual. New SW revisions intended for everyone (not all SW revisions are) take like a month or two before it reaches everyone, so be patient. |

Well,unbelievable, but true
Red/black 226e
Lime/black 239e
White/pink. 239e
I know the difference is minimum.I would love that white instead of the black cover, too
But that pink is far too pink fir me, I love purple or magenta.
And lime was tempting too.
A white/ lime or white/ red would have been perfect.
If anyone wants ti change pink or white or lime for my black cover....please, let me know!
Shipment costs 16 euros in normal post and using pay pal.
So the final price for the black/ red mini is 242e.to reach Spain.
Soooo, anyone interested in exchanging covers ....

Hello guys, i have a question for you about the x10 mini...
My previous phone was a C905, and i have to admit that the camera was much better (8.1 MP), so i don't want to get rid of it, so, i'd like to use it when i go on holidays for example.
The problem is that i'd like to keep my messages, contacts and other info syncronized no matter what phone i use, so i'd like to know if there is a way of saving this info from the xperia and then transfer it to the C905 and viceversa, so that i always have the same information...
Maybe i'm not the only one with this doubt...
Anyone?
Thanks in advance! |

That's very weird. I also have the X10 mini (not Pro), and was a bit surprised to see that the SMS menu did not rotate to landscape. Rotating from portrait to landscape in apps (such as Google maps) works OK. However, the home screen, and the menu don't rotate. (But i'm not sure if it's suppose to).
When I'm writing an SMS with the standard SMS application, and rotate to landscape, nothing happens. I assumed that apparently it's not possible. But the photo shows that it should be possible.
My phone has build nr. 1.0.A.1.36. Could it be that this feature was dropped from newer releases, or would it be the other way around? |

We are testing this phone in my site, too. Our tester got an older version from Sony Ericsson as far as I know. So it might be the case that SE removed this feature from newer releases which makes no sense to me.

Nope
I managed just over 6 days from the little phone in the end.
