What are you using on your computer to encode the music and add the album art? If itunes, don't use the album art downloaded through the itunes store, it doesn't show up. You need to do it manually yourself. Also, you need to use fairly small pictures, say 400 x 400 pixels maximum.
i'm a 1st time user of the media manager and have a q regarding it
if i'm selecting tracks to transfer to my w890i why cant i choose tracks from an album if it isn't a complete 1? i.e if i dont have all the tracks from that album.
cheers in advance

I´v got a W890 today, and so far I´m very happy with it. I´ve have had a K550, M600, K750, T610 and so on before and this is the most stylish and slim device of them all. (almost as stylish as the classic T610)
I took some shots of it also:
Box:
Half-open:
The phone:
Backside:
Slim (compared with a K550):
So far, I really like it! The keys is on the small side, but what do you expect from a device this small. |

is it possible to re-assign the right and left soft keys in standby mode? or does it have to be media and contacts?

Saw the brown w890 for the first time today in the store.
Looked mutch better on pictures then in real life....
I'll go for the silver if I have to choose.
Tested it for a few minutes, worked as expected.
But the phone has one big disadvantage:
Why did they put the connector on the side ? In the store the powersuply was connected, and when typing sms or whatever is in the way, a lot !
This is a walkman phone and it will be the same story when the headset is connected, if you not go with the BT, stupid.
Good looking and pocketfriendly though...
( sorry if this has been up before )

@Fredricx
I agree that fastport positioning can be a serious nuisance when using the keypad, especially for left-handed people like myself
By moving it to the right-hand side could win the most lefty-friendly award
Seriously, though, the bottom seems to be the best, neutral choice to which should, hopefully revert.
Cheers! |

the connector on the side is a big disadvantage when using it as a Walkman. No matter how you hold the phone the connector is in the way.
It doesn't help that the fastport connector is bloody massive. Why does the fastport need such big casing to connect a few wires to a few metal contacts? Then theres the problem of it being flimsy.
Bt headsets are ok if you have time to charge them.
Really thats my only problem worth mentioning on this otherwise great phone. |
