Guys need some help. I have a N71 under Advance Telecom Warranty. ITs got 2 months left. Will they do something if the phone has a design defect which has a negative impact on the phone?

The screen gets scratched by the keypad, its a known defect in N71.

AFAIK they wont replace the handset (or for that matter change it with another one of your choice). why didn't you use a screen protector if the defect was a known one? |

@QVGA.I do not think that they will replace it.But if you tell them that how much active member you are on esato and you will destroy advance telecom by telling every one that they do not give you warranty claim.Then may be they replace it for you

OK, what about the fact that whenever i use *100# for balance check, my phone hangs up and restarts? This goes for all service commands. Will they do something about that?

Yes they will...im sorry but u should have discussed this with the warranty people when u BOUGHT the phone..u have used it for 10 months and now u want something? 
well i got a new k810i and it did not have a screen protector on and the side of the phone had a slight gash...i did not get a replacement,but i got 2000rupees discount..and it was branded on 3mobile..the uncle at the shop promised me to get it removed..thanks to my kiddy charm...turned out cybershot phones dont get flashed in 150-200 bucks...had to use the internet for 7euro..around 500 bucks...but he stuck by his promise...similarly,u can take up the matter with the warranty people...they will defo do something about the software problem,and maybe,just MAYBE, help u with the keypad prob...cheers!
