the button placements are just okay with me (menu, home and back) since they correspond to the left and right softkeys of A3 phones and the home button in the center is very i-phoney. and something noteworthy, the "menu" button doesn't take you to the Main Menu but it functions as "Options". I think you can only access the main menu by swiping up on the homescreen. |

Does anybody know if are developing a full touch version of the A200/A300 OS? and, if they are, will Aino get it in a firmware upgrade?

Hopefully the touchman is using A200 so we can get an Aino firmware. |

There gonna be full touch version of their own platform. AFAIK not in 2009

That seems obvious to me, not much to come in 2009 anymore...
The question is, will Aino be updated with that full touch platform or not. I, personally, don't think so, because that would mean extra competition for s real full touch phones once they are out. |

Rachael is indeed quick but I'm off to HTC which will fit nicely with the Microsoft Courier then again, Leo is almost a PC itself. Microsoft is doing big things with their UI and even though the Courier is a tablet PC, there is a lot of innovation which will slowly move over to the mobile UI. Leo will easily take each update including WinMo 7 since the hardware is strong.
Back on topic, there is the touch UI in development. I remember hearing about this from early summer and hopefully we will get this in 2010. The media player on Aino shows that there is progress for sure, maybe more progress than we know......MWC is supposedly going to be a big show from with a number of surprises I have been told.
Aino will not get full touch which is a shame since the music quality beats any Walkman device out there. |

i have just seen the video of microsofts courier, it looks incredible - if it works as shown its an instant buy for me, my only hope is that it also works as a sketchbook. (sorry for being off topic) |
