@randomuser I assume the S4 Pro in Dogo is the quad version? Will it have same or better ip rating than Z? Is the battery removable?
How soon is soon? Is the release in April?
Hope it's not too large.

Yes. Quad S4 Pro
It's supposedly IP58, better than Z and same as Xperia Go
Release will be sometime in May
Battery is removable I hear although I'm not fully sure. |

@randomuser,
we know that Sony will move to one flaggy per year strategy later in 2014, but any idea about the time frame ? I mean H1 or H2 or even mid year ?
BTW, Sony One spec/launch time frame, whats the rating for this rumor ?

will the Dogo be smaller than ZL? Because ZL has a 5" screen and is already smaller than Z so Dogo with it's 4.6" should be even smaller.
btw, Xperia Go has not ip58, it's 67. So the water resistance is not better. |

@Ramdomuser,
It is said that the sales quantity of XZ has reached 4.6 mil. Is it true?

Oops. Actually Dogo is better than go. Go(7) is water resistant upto 1 m for 30 mins. Dogo(8) is water resistant beyond 1m.
Dust resistance of Go(6) is better than Dogo (5)
Dogo will not be much smaller than ZL.
@milukugiuniu
Sounds about right

@Randomuser
4.6 mil is really a significance for SM, accounting for more than 50% of last quarter's volume! |

In fact the uncertainty regarding One Sony is most worrying. Sony is confused about it. Whether to launch it in July or in holiday season around October.
Sony should release this ASAP! I hate to admit it but the Xperia Z is not the phone which will beat S4 or Iphone 6. Against the S4, it's only better design-wise and this is not enough to break the hype Samsung is beefing up with their current PLASTIC flagship. Sony should wake up and understand that they need to make a better phone. This might hurt those Xperia Z owners but I think by July the Xperia Z will be at the market for more than 5 months and an announcement and released of a new flagship will be understandable.

iPhone 6? iPhone 10 could barely put up a fight against the T if Apple 'progress' at the rate they are.
Anyway, Sony are slowing getting their act together. More and more integration across the different departments within Sony, the fruits of which will start being seen at the end of the year and more significantly, in the flagship of the next year.
The Z puts up a fight better than I expected against the GS4 (aka the SGS3S). It has a more detailed screen thanks to the pentile rubbish of the GS4, the result being only 623 sub-pixels per inch, only slightly more than the z10. The processor isn't much of an improvement. The s600 is comparable to the exynos quad+quad, and because the s600 isn't much of an improvement over the APQ8064, not particularly special. As developer unfriendly as always. The design doesn't need much comment. The water/dust resistance is what makes the Z sell to a LOT of people who would have gone for other phones. And I've heard more people have switched from iPhones to the Z in the period it has been out than they have switched to any other phone in a period of the same length.

If the 1st One Sony (Honami) comes out in 2H with these awesome spec, then what will Samsung's and HTC's strategies be? They'd be in a new situation, no longer spec leader unless they release new flagships. |

Well Sony, Samsung and HTC have different strategies. It shouldnt really affect them much if their end users are happy.
Samsung - Release 1 flagship and support it well over the years = satisfied users
HTC - One flagship and support it well, atleast starting with htc one = satisfied users
Sony - Release 2 flaghsips, priority support for 6 months followed by barely any support = satisfied users.
The sales will eventually boil down to the demand which people will show. HTC followed what sony is following after they got big with desire. But that's how thy ended up now becaus of bad name.
Tbh I would be more happy if sony actually cancelled their 2h flagship phone and just release a top of the line phablet and support them really well. That way the users would be more satisfied. Free updates with new features will win over more people than paid bi annual hardware update.
