Multidomain Vertical Alignment (MVA)
MVA technology, was later developed by Fujitsu in 1998 as a compromise between TN Film and IPS technologies. On the one hand, MVA provided a full response time of 25 milliseconds (that was impossible at the time with IPS, and not easily achievable with TN), and on the other hand, MVA matrices had wide viewing angles of 160 - 170 degrees, and thus can compete with IPS in that parameter. The viewing angles are also very good in the vertical field (an area where TN panels suffer a great deal) as well as the horizontal field. MVA technology also provides high contrast ratios and good black depth, which IPS and TN Film couldn't quite meet at the time.

Man, I'm excited about these awesome specs
Do you have any info about the design? I hope they come up with a striking design like the XZ or SP |

Design and specs both are not finalized. It will be finalized this coming month - April. So maybe we will get more info by May.
Also, GAGA is Japan only phone. No global model

Hmm, it is a pity the phablet can't get the same high end camera or walkman specs that will be arriving in the 2H flagships. If it could get all of that, I'd get it without question. Now that there's talk of the 2H flagships having these nicer things, it raises a bit of doubt. Then again the phablet will come before those ones and will have an advantage with its stylus.
Interesting that the sensor size of the 2H flagship(s) is 1/2.3", but it's still rumored to be a match for the Pureview 808. It's entirely possible if it's using a Exmor RS design, but just found that interesting.
If the rumors of the Cybershot and Walkman flagships are true, I suppose the reason to have them seperate is because the Cybershot one might have a xenon (or equivelant?) flash that would be pretty battery draining, and the Walkman one would have a dedicated amp that would also be a drain on the battery.
So... I guess what, 2014 we hope to get everything in one? IF these rumors are true, it just goes to show that we have not yet seen the best of Sony in a phone, but I suppose we're getting there. |

I was about to go with the Phablet....
but with the awesome specs that the one Sony has..... I will definitely go with the H2 device now
@Random: so Gaga is actually Japanese version of ZL will S600 chip right? |

@vivftp
Like I said before, the PA rumors are stolen from Esato but misinterpreted. So the final article is utter BS.
There are no Cybershot and Walkman Xperia phones.
Only one 2H flagship - Honami aka the first One Sony phone.
Only it will have everything, there is no walkman centric phone let alone a flagship.
@Stedus
Not really. It's not the same as ZL. Basically an updated Z for AU KDDI.
NTT Docomo will one up AU KDDI in 2H when they get the One Sony flagship.
Also only Japanese Docomo Dogo may get S600. Global Dogo will probably ship with APQ8064 S4 pro like Z/ZL

Nice, so it will finally have all the wonderful audio tech that was in the Walkman Z?
Ah well, I am already skipping the ZL, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much if it's for the phablet or 2h flagship in terms of timeframe. |

So they Skip the S600 update and go straight to the S800 Chip? (For Global Market)
I wish they just leave Dogo with S600 to slow HTC One and S4 Momentum before the One Sony come out
Also, XZ lost its 1st rank in Japan this week, and ....... was replaced by the Iphone 5 =.=

It won't match Walkman Z or have all the tech Walkman Z had. Just a significant increment over the Z audio quality wise but still not as good as Walkman Z. Similar audio hardware but less powerful.
For that you gotta wait till 2014 at least, or maybe 2015 even
@Stedus
Yes. Jumping straight to S800 with the phablet in June. There "might" be a S600 phone along with the phablet but not confirmed yet.
In fact the uncertainty regarding One Sony is most worrying. Sony is confused about it. Whether to launch it in July or in holiday season around October.

Launching the first S800 device will have Sony to kill all the negative talk around Sony always use outdated specs Thats a great deal
But it does nothing to harm the HTC One and the S4 because they are at different segment :<
Btw, the Phablet will be great....but my eyes are now aiming for the One Sony
@vivftp: Audio chip is nice, but I think the chip only enhances a little bit Audio experience, so going for a more High end headset is the only way to get better experience (my opinion)

Phablet "may" get 13 mp Exmor RS instead.
So don't lose hope just yet. |

Good to hear that, but the One Sony is growing on me right now
I might change my mind if the design is great
Edit: Launch in July and delay the Phablet to IFA might be a good idea:
+Killing the momentum of the HTC One and S4, but.....
- they might upset the XZ owners as well as the Phablet might be out shadow by the Note 3, because their Brand Equity is not strong enough compare to the Note series
-The new Iphone 5s or Iphone 6 might come out as the same time
Follow the Plan and Phablet in July, One Sony in IFA....:
+Avoid the fierce competition of the Note 3 but my face another threat.... Ipad Mini (2?) from Apple
+Can boost the Sales of One Sony easily if they sell the device Globally within 1 month of announcement and Proper PR and Marketing campaign to boost customers' awareness
-The Tizen Device from SS might come out, I don't know this is a threat or an opportunity (cuz SS might concentrate on its own OS and forget to keep develop its Android software )
