Not ovely excited about 2.1. What will I be gaining exactly. Might SE enhance it with extras like they did with donut?

Do you remember there was an application for Android, made by Sony Ericsson around summer 2009, before any information about X10 ( X3 ) to leak? We used that as a sign that SE is working on Android phone. Now I can't find any information about that app, do you remember anything about it? What's its name and can it be used on X10?

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...

Now let's see how happy I'll be...

I don't notice any enhancement on the battery compared to R1B001.
One other thing is that my status doesn't update in Timescape if I have changed the status on the web, but if I change it in Timescape I can see it on the web. Also Timescape is very slow updating the info although I'm on WiFi.

@caff111

have you tried the gmail app settings? there's a checkbox there for email notifications.
also under the x10's general settings, go to data synchronization and check gmail synch

Guys, can't seem to download my email attachments when even my W995 could do that. Am I doing something wrong?

Phonebook 2.0 is a nice alternative phonebook if you get a bit sick of all the blue background on the X10.Try it.I think Im going to stick with it for a while.

Did give Phonebook 2.0 a try, but i was very disapointed, it was many times slower than the SE app, and even aContacts. had some nice ideas and inovative look and feel, but it keept crashing all the time, and the speed is under all critic, it took ages for it to load images at start/switching between phonebook menues and browsing/linked fb contacts.

not for me but nice that you like it and can use it. but nothing i would recomend.

I have a request/question i have a friend (the female one) she has a pouch for her phone and a mobile jewelry, so the phone can only go into the pouch in one direction, NOW to the question is there any program that display missed calls/sms in the lower part of the screen, so you don't have to take it out of the puch all the way (i sugested turning the phone and just see the led, but she had to have her jewlery and did not want to scratch/damage the line-out and usb-hatchet. Ideas?

Phonebook 2.0 in my case is the opposite user experience
To yours. Its faster than the SE Phonebook. It loads up instantaneously
and moving around within the app is fast without that second
delay I get from the default Phonebook.
Havent tried AContact yet.

Thanks!
I have it downloaded to my PC and have transfered it to the phone via Bluetooth. After it´s finished, I get a message in the phone: The file has been saved.
Now, I can´t find it in the phone.
Any suggestions?

Bluetooth folder on the SD Card?
If you don't have a file manager to view folders you may need to install something like Astro from the Android Market.
