Bummer. I know many folks here would be disappointed.
Is there any device from SE to be released this year running a newer version of UIQ? Like v3.1 or 3.2, perhaps?

Marketing oriented users:
early and mid 2007, we were all angry at SE, not releasing any info about their flagship or any other smash hit model. but know i realize why they did so...
they knew, big N had something under its sleeve, but they were forseeing another competitor, with all the financial terms to turn tables over all cellphones manufacturers: Apple.
the latter one strength lies in the fact, that they have one phone model, so all the concentration would be on that model. and the release is 29th (bonded to AT&T) and we're all (most of us anyways) hyped about it, and having plans to get one..
BUT.....
personally speaking, after i heard/read infos about those upcoming phones, M00I to be exact, i suddenly experienced a critical decrease in my "iphone plans"..
Smartphone-Walkman-8gb-3.2mpx etc....
and that shaker thing
and the 5mpx cyclops.
great timming SE. just great |

that would require quite a number of people across europe to quit wasting so much time with their afternoon tea (don't know what that means? come to shinagawa for a day trip)
that will be a bit early (when is P1i due again? and then how many firmwares will be required to fix those bugs?), but not impossible
the shareholder meeting version: yes they'll come
the honest confession: now get ur bums working |

If you ask me there is no war going on at this moment. N95 sells so good that even Nokia doesnt realize it. In my country there were some surprices regarding N95s price (contract) and people are going nuts about it. Now almost everybody wants to have a N95 but there just doesnt seem to be enough of them. But guess what, that leak makes everyone want a N95 like 10 times more!
I have never owned a nokia "smartphone" before.. but i will surely try a N95. I am also waiting for P1i though. But must admit that i am not sure if P1i will be able to meet the N95`s hype or even a bit of that hype. Surely P1i has TS, nice keys and it is a SE but those arent the things i cant live without. And there is one other factor.. P1`s price; i am realy wondering what that will be. |

P1i/bugs?? Perish the thought!
...and laurel resting, seems so innocent; only the lack of realisation is more amusing(won't be if something doesn't get done)......

The N95 spent 2 weeks at No1 in the UK and then was beaten into No2 by the Samsung U600.
The K800i spent almost 13 weeks at No1 in the UK when launched and I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Sofia gave a similar spiffing performance.

@goldenface: That is logical, as people are more into "phones" as they are into "smart(computer) phones".
I was talking about advanced users or a.k.a. advanced users are getting N95 one by one. I havent imagined that as contract free N95 doesnt come cheap. SE is on a good way for getting more of that delicious "share cake". But i dont need that i need a bugfree P1i or P3i
Meanwhile i will try a N95 |

Video from T650:
H.263, 176x144, 8 Khz, FPS: 10,01, 73,34 kbit/s
This is the info I got from a clip that I took.
The magical question is, will the sales unit have better specs?

That sucks! This is the iconic reincarnation of the legendary t610, it ought to be way better than that. |
