I will definitely wait for a UIQ3 version of Agendus, although it may take a while. I've been using it on my P900 and no other program comes even close.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

Unfortunately thats the Alarm bug...
Only way to fix is to fully reflash...
and then...
To avoid i have heard you need to set all alarms to 'Next 24 Hours'...

Whew, just set my alarm 2 days back and after reading drthug problems, quickly uncheck the alarm tick and it works, no more alarm bell at standby screen |

I got my P990I on Orange yesterday and it was activated today!!!!!
I am VERY happy with it. I like what Orange have done with the main screen as well. I am amazed at how easy it is to use, MUCH MUCH better then I thought. I don't find it too bulky either. It's a way cool gadget. I can't find any themes I like yet though so shall have to keep looking and I was wondering if the Martyn Fields screen protector is any good? Should I use a screen protector at all??
Thanks from a very happy P990I owner!!!!

I'm puzzled about something on the P990i (and yes I've looked in the manual, it's not there).
Just under the camera button on the right side of the device there is a little opening that is actually covered. At first I had thought that it might be a micro USB connector that SE eventually decided not to use and covered, I needed a magnifying glass to see what it actually is. The strange thing is, when you switch on the camera, it actually lights up for a short time!! This seems to be the only action it ever does. What on earth is it and what is it used for, does anyone know?
And I thought I had gotten to know the P990 pretty well ...For good or bad, this device still keeps on surprising me...

I called the SE service centre on this issue on call logs, they told me
that its a software issue. Once you upgrade the phone, it should work fine. I m facing the same problem too. Hope this help... |

makbil, That is the camera LED light. Most SE handsets have the LED for the camera shutter button integrated into the switch, but on the P990i it sits next to the button. Presumably the idea is to show, 1. that the camera is activated, and 2. in the dark lights up the shutter button.
It really doesn't serve any functional purpose as such though - it is really just cosmetic.
