@Brasco. I think we are going to start a fundraising to buy you a new pair of sneakers. All donations welcome...
On the pictures of those picture frames, isn't it funny how the camera bends the vertical lines, like on my pictures of the dock buildings. What causes that, anyone?

Hi all, took pics with my s700 today for the first time and couldnt believe it when i saw a possum out during the day! I think he is a bit sick or injured as he seems to have issues with his balance and also looks to have a sore leg.
We will feed him and watch him for a bit because he seems to be settling in quite well in our yard ! : D I personally hope he recovers and returns to the bush, that will make me happy.
ps. Pic taken with many clouds but some very bright sun shining through the gaps!
I hope you like it,

Heres one i found which shows his face more.
Im very happy with these, tomorrow i plan to get a few more pics around here and play with the settings. I thought i would have to find out about editing but in my opinion the pics are ok without any.
Looking through this thread is amazing.... s700 gets good shots : D

Your comment is interesting because i had to use my T39m, before those pics were taken, for two weeks since i killed my S700i.
Fortunately we (me and Setool speciallists ) were able to get it back to life.

Wow. Cool shots Matt.
Always wanted to know what a Possum looked like.
Is it OK? Have you give it a name
Do you see many of them where you live?
Real good pictures. |

@Goldenface -thanks mate, he doesnt have a name as yet! Our house has bush at the back so we see quite a few of these but never, ever during the day. We also have a family of water dragons (large lizards), kookaburras and numerous other creatures who come into our yard for a feed or a snooze oh and the damn bats who eat the mulberries and then $h!t all over my car any chance they get LMAO I will try get a pic of a water dragon, i think you may find them interesting also.
@Brasco When i took the pics above i was actually laying on my chest dead still and with these phone/cameras.... i think that helps a lot (keeping the cam steady) Just experiment mate, the proof is in this thread of what we can do with our phone !

@R00na. I will lmao if you manage to post a picture of a water dragon. I think I know what kookaburras look like. Did you give the Possum a lump of cheese to keep it still? It looks like it something in its paws.

Great shots guys, I'm very impressed. Hope to get my s700i on monday (if anywhere has them in stock, - having trouble with that locally for the right price).
I have a Nikon coolpix zlr (5700) and am very interested in photography. I doubt the s700i cam will match that for user options and quality but I am just amazed at how good these pics come out for a "camera phone". This is obviously the next step along in camera phones - emphasis on the camera part ! Looking forward to getting one for when I don't have my big Nikon on me. Way cool.
p.s. Love that possum - cute ! |
