So a summary of rumours I'm seeing at the moment:
Xperia 1 2020:
6.5" 2K HDR OLED 21:9
SD865 + 5G
6/12GB LPDDR5
New sensors, IBIS.
Maybe a new large 12Mp or IMX686
Possibly ultra wide front and back with 360 video recording.
4000+ mAh battery
Xperia 5 2020
6.5" 2K HDR OLED 21:9
SD765 + 5G
8GB RAM
Maybe a new large 12Mp or IMX650
Not seen a battery for this?
Xperia 10 2020
Also SD765 + 5G?
4/6GB
Might be mixed up rumours around the 5 2020.

They think it might have hole.
It does not say it has.
If the hole is bad for screen, of course they are not going to use.

Looks bad. Like a midrange. At least get rid of that chin if you're gonna put that monstrosity in the display.
They should keep the bezel and put more cams and face id. |

@hawk12 - no shit sherlock. i did not say it was definitely happening. ppl also did not say it. what is wrong with you? the point was to post the article with "RUMOR" information. all you're confirming is that it is a rumor.
@ppl - agreed. i hope the renders are just taking liberties and not actual renders. the article is based on a japanese patent application and i didn't have time to read it. the article could just be making assumptions based on the drawings alone, which aren't always definitive in patent applications. especially considering the punch out cam is not shown in all drawings.

Xperia 10's design leaked similarly. But I think it was from an info dump or sth. People thought it was the flagship design back then.
So this could be a pop up cam midrange or even under display camera. I doubt Sony would punch a hole into the display, they hardly ever round the corners. It's against their philosophy.
Cinema pro might not be installed but could still be available to download. May also be that Sony decided to sell the app like filmic. |

Whoa! An Xperia Advertisement. That's the rarest gem in the whole universe. Like life on other planets.
Except they labeled Xperia 1 while he was using the 5. Why does Sony marketing materials have those mistakes? The X1 promo mixed up the cameras. |

He was switching between both.
Since both do same, he just says 1.
