I'm prety sure that dot switch is being teased on the new Japan only Xperia Arco HD seen as though the teaser web link is a .jp address, the Xperia Arco HD has an infra-red sensor/transmitter and the switching on/off of devices has a definite pointing gesture rather than proximately thing.

If you find one SIM-unlocked, then HSPA+ is the fastest you'll get. |

Pretty sure Ion is 2100/1900/850Mhz HSDPA Tri-Band, but I would assume it's locked to AT&T? |

@-16-,
That is NOT a hybrid SIM card you showed a picture of. That is a MicroSIM with a cut-out of a regular SIM card size. The standard SIM shell houses the MicroSIM (both are not individually of one another, using 1/other requires the MicroSIM; thus not a Hybrid). IF, and I mean "IF" phone supports a MicroSIM only, you will NOT be able to use a regular sim or the MicroSIM+Regular SIM outter shell in the phone. Plain & simple.
Using MicroSIM "IS" up to the manufacturer. Unless the provider deems they'll no longer support/produce regular SIM cards.
@tai020381 & Lostsoulz,
We all use smartphones for various types of media: Music, Videos, eBooks, Applications, Documents, etc. Only Tai has stated he requires more tan 32GB of storage - yet I'm curious of the smartphone you use - while Lostsoulz just complains yet has NOT stated using up 32GB MicroSD card.
To you both and anyone else ... what is the size of your media on your external storage (MicroSD) which shows you require more? Also I'll bet that its either Videos/Music content that takes up the largest 2 slots of data on the MicroSD cards. Of either of those ... how often do you get to play EACH single content of the two?
As in how many play counts is EACH of your songs in a 5 day period?
How many play counts is EACH of your videos in a 5 day period?
- Also I'm VERY curious how much video do you record, on avg (in MB/GB size), in a 5 day period?
Once you've tallied up your results ... please state how often do you use the SAME PC/Mac that you sync with in those typical 5 day period? I'm willing to guess at least once, allowing you to swap out the content, backup recorded videos, downloaded music, documents, pictures, and remove from the card and upload to a cloud service such as DropBox/Box.net where you can use mobile data to retrieve/review should the need require in the next 5day period.
Consider that up until December 2012 Box.net & SE is offering ALL Xperia users 50GB Free in the cloud. I'd say utilize it - unless of course you monthly data plans are highly restrictive or almost maxed out on average use and you don't come across free WLAN access typically.
^ I believe THIS is the argument that randomuser originally intended to pose; if not then its mine.
I challenge a post in full to my questions above - including usage habits and lack of typical 5 day sync patterns.
