I would prefer "keep setting" options. if you want to keep your setting, apps, etc..as original

Not yet. Vodafone have since day one been very difficult when it come to the Satio. They totally refuse to admit to any firmware updates and refuse to offer any comment as to if we will ever get one. They are not customer friendly and are not interested if you wish to leave. Even though SE released a new firmware some time ago and most if not all of the other SP's have released their branded versions , Vodafone have not done so...... we sit and wait and hope i guess.... |

Not that it helps those with Vodafone Satio's, but the Orange UK version has just been released (downloading now). Last time the Vodafone and Orange UK were released very close to each other so you never know, fingers crossed... |

Vodafone are a joke, how they cannot have it out by now is a joke. as mentioned earlier the customer service from day 1 with satio has been shite, now they have the iphone no other seems to matter. |

I agree. Vf have failed at every point with the Satio and providing a useful support frame for customers. Providing no updates re the new firmware is so frustrating. SE released the firmware for a very good reason so why do VF think it is fine for them to then not provide us with it. I will be a very happy customer when i leave VF. |

Why not get debrand? and use western generic.

Just debranded from Orange UK after the update didn't fix my inability to edit photos (clicking "add effect" just crashes out) and I must say, it's pretty much identical, definitely not any faster and now I can't use the fullscreen qwerty keyboard when inputting passwords for Wifi. AND after numerous hard resets and complete reinstalls I STILL can't edit photos. How annoying, I'm wondering if I can still send my phone into Orange to see if it's actually broken, but I can imagine the whole debranding thing has made that rather awkward. Ah well, hopefully it'll stop losing time and forgetting to sound the alarm now! GPS is very fast again, should be interesting to see how it performs in a couple of months.
Sorry, that wasn't a very productive post, but venting was required... Kudos though to Lollylost for the ability to debrand for free! |

@Slashpepper
I had the same problem with trying to edit photos.
Its something that I installed on my memory card that caused it.
Take out your memory card and see if you can edit photos.
If you can edit photos when the memory card is removed you can fix permanent by music etc from memory card to pc.
Uninstall any applications that you had installed on the memory card.
Format the memory card and then transfer back the files and install again the applications that you installed on the memory card. |
