@ashyak

I got mine from phones2udirect.com not fones4u, diff company. Phones4u always sell locked branded phones in my experience. I think Wotan now have generic firmware for W880i so should be easy to debrand

What happens if one performs a master reset?

What software will be lost?

Has anyone had any trouble with the W880i turning off? Mine has turned off a few times all by itself. It is normally when in my pocket with the keypad lock turned on.

Mine has turned off a few times when I plug a headset in.

Yesterday I plugged a headset in and it turned off. After restarting and re-entering the Walkman all my music was inaccessible, even though it was through the file manager. I had to format my 2GB M2 and put all my music back on before it would recognise it again.

Could anyone upload the classic phone ringtone? :$

It's the only ringtone I can properly hear in a crowded area, but the master reset deleted it. ;]

Mine just turned off again. This time it was just sat on my worktop untouched.

I am started to get a bit wary about phones reliabilty. I have had phones ever since the T68i without any trouble until I got a K800i. I had 2 that wouldnt turn on and one that had a video call camera problem. Now I seem to have a faulty W880i. What are playing at?

My W900i went through a phase of switching off every now and again but as long as it was able to switch on again then it was fine.

@JC

How often does yours switch off now?
