yea i installed the drivers on the disk boot camp makes. seemed to install ok.
when it was at gazza_1989's house (where i put vista on) he has a home hub and i was connected to that but with only a 60% connection. where as on his vista PC was 100% and the PC and Mac were right next to eachother. i'm guessin i must be missing something?
i'll try and reinstall the drivers when i get home, see how that goes.

isnt it magical how you can plug any digital camera in and the computer just knows what to do....no drivers or anything, and it will even delete the photos from your camera for you

I can't seem to adjust volume any more on my Intel Mac mini using the apple keyboard or the IR remote. I could see volume icon pop up when I hit the volume button and it also moves up and down as I want it to, but the volume it self stays the same. Only way I could adjust the volume now is through the volume in menu bar. I appreciate any help to fix this. |

When you setup the MacBook for the first time, the 'Migration Assistant' will pop-up and give you the option to transfer all your existing user data (email, settings, prefs etc), apps and settings from the old Mac via a Firewire cable between the two. Does it automatically...
The only thing to be aware of is you'll be moving from PowerPC to Intel, so some apps and plugins etc. may need updating to Intel versions.
Other stuff you can just copy across manually or re-install.

Just drag the Applications folder onto the dock, as you would any other icon. Then single-click to open the Apps folder, or click and hold to reveal a menu with all your apps on to launch them.
