Hello everyone. How are you today? I have been out today so I could not answer some PM.
@Power_Vano and EduX: I am still checking the new colour correction for our phones. I will post some pictures when I went out today About the sky in that picture, it is just the exposure problem. My driver has higher exposure than Raiderski. If you change the angle of the camera, you will be able to see the ski. I really sad since the cid49 can't get good focus as well and in that picture, we still get noise no matter what driver you use
@A4A-User:
- K750i/w800i/D750i: I really sorry about the crash problem. I will post a new driver soon which is as stable as a4a-5.6 and I will improve the colour correction since I think the old method is not really good. I'm searching on how to make the pictures look better, hve more pixel and bit/pixel. Hope I can do it I also hope I can get help from you.
-w810i: By looking the pictures here, I think i have some information about w810i and next week I will be able to test on w810i by using a phone from my friend.--- If you are using w810i, please post your idea about A4A. I really appreciate that.
---I will try to finish the two new drivers for diferent modules soon before weekend tomorrow. Thank you for your helps.

A4A-7.5 is released http://www.mediafire.com/?6mbwjeis9hj
@All modders
Do you think is it possible for us to setup 4 main colours at the same time? I can only setup 3 at the same time
@CID 49 user:
- You cant setup saturation on a CID49. Whatever value you setup for it, it wont affect the quality of the picture -> You need a color-correction profile.
- The best sharpness for CID 49 is .... not to setup the sharpness.
- Only contrast and brightness can be setup on CID49. However, Raiderski is right that contranst=00 is the best value.
- Pillya's color correction made by SPU is not available until you base on his code. Pillya's original is fine. Krimago's code is fine as well.
--------Hope this information is useful for CID49 modders.

Raider: Well wherever EM/ENM is enabled, whether its fine +0.7 1.1 or enable in normal mode.
Because EM/ENM pics almost always come out over-saturated and makes it look very different than the actual scene.
Thats why I was wondering if its possible to separately control the saturation for EM/ENM and the normal non EM/ENM mode.
Anyway this happened tonight, apparently the driver tried to handbrake and turn around in a narrow one way street...
Taken with TEST 5 and EM mode without flash

A4A-7.5 is released
Today, I went out with a friend of mine. I dont usually go out apart from going to school or work. But today, I went out with a friend of my to the town/the habour and the beach for a rest. And our main purpose is to taking some pictures since he has just got a new camera. His camera is Sony W90. You can find some information about it online. When we came back, we have a look on the computer to compare the quality of the pictures. Indeed, my k750i Cid49 is rubbish. But I when I came here, I saw some pictures of w800i cid36 and w810i, I felt sader CID49 has lots of problems: no control in sharpness/saturation/wb-balance as the others. I wish I had bought w810i if i had had enought money However, I can change the cam modules to w800i cid36 by using my friend's fone. But, when i think about you guys who is as unlucky as me with cid49, I can't do that. I must do something to make it better. I have spent most of my time to go for that idea after a4a-6.5, which may be crap And after 4 days, I decided to post my first test for the new idea. And I call it A4A-7.5 . It is a big jump since there was 10 failed tests

What is new about this driver
+ There are three seperate drivers in that file:
....1 for w800i/k750i cid36: with updated colour correction and sharpness.
....1 for w810i: with updated colour correction and compression/sharpness.
....1 for other (cid49,k750i,d750i): with is updated colour correction.
+The functions: still the same as the previous version, please read guide.txt for more information
+ I have created my own colour correction. You may say that why cid36/w810i need a colour correction profile. My answer is: Why not? Is the current auto colour of cid36/w810i is good now? Why don't we give it a change for something new? Why the digital camera always has better colour than our phone? My main purpose on the new colour correction is the enriched-colour. The colour will be the same but the camera will be more sensible with the light colours. Moreover, I have tunned these drivers so that they can get more real colour when taking picture at night without extra light source with led on
+ To be honest, I havent check these new setting on cid36 and w810i as I have no chance to do that. Therefore, the thing that make me worry is the saturation of these two phone. My new colour profile maybe stronger than the default colours so saturation value may need change If you try my driver and have strong/low saturation, you can change it by editing the code: search for satura=06; and replace 06 for 05 or even 04.
+ As it is a new project, I really need the cooperation from you all. I'm not only working for myself, I am working for my phone and more than that, i'm trying to help you. So please cooperate with me. And don't think that is just a test version and you don't want to try it. That is a wrong idea since I can't know what is good or bad.
+When you evaluate the quality of the pictures, please tell me your idea about: sharpness/saturation/colour/focus/noise(in which case)... Full size pictures will be great helps.
+ Normal quality for EM off, Fine quality for EM on. Always use macro on so that EM will take affect. The first time when you install this driver, EM may not work at the first shot in fine quality but it will be fine on the next shot and ever.
+I am also adjusting displaydriver contrast and brightness so that it can show the most unique quality on the screen and thepictures
+Please discuss about it and point out any problems. I dont care the pictures you post about my driver are good or bad. To me, bad pictures are good.
+ And, it is midnight here. If you think I am talkative then I am sorry about that.
+ Have a lovely weekend. For those who have bank holiday, enjoy your long holiday with your family. You are luckier than me
+Good night everyone.

shouhei: Are you sure, it's oversaturation, not only overexposure? Oversaturated picture has rich colours...
But If you want to see actual scene...maybe put manual shutter to the higher value and use preview.
If I guessing right, so you can never see actual scene with enm/em before you take the shot (ok, in better light conditions, it's similar, but when it's worse, differences are bigger). That's why I just use manual shutter.

lpachuong: I have 2 phones: K750 flashed to W800 and a W800 both are CID36
Mr Kaja: The pics by coquito fully explain what I mean by me wanting to controlling saturation for EM/ENM separately. Colors are far from the original scene and makes it look like nokia pic
Saturation for non EM/ENM is fine but since it also controls EM/ENM it makes pics in medium and low light (where EM/ENM is needed) come out looking unreal. |

shouhei: Well, so maybe it's just cid36 problem...not here with cid49. Of course, you get brighter pic, so then even brighter colours. I don't think, it happens in sequence with saturation parametr (but of course, this parameter work differently in cid49), so it could be the same at all phones. Anyway, how I said, I had the same result with manual shutter speed and I saw in viewfinder the final looking really more precisely, than in "blind" em. I will post example from my phone:
One is manual shutter speed on 4.0 and one is EM, guess what is what:)
and for fun, another position, same time: with led and normal mode
It's funny, because on automatic setting, in this situation (morning), almost I would say, that picture with led had the best colours:)
I used raiderski 6.5 beta5 for the test.

So I tested ur new drivers lpachuong and i think that the colour correction is awesome and theres no noise everything looks good but theres a big lack of sharpness. I cant take a sharp picture neither indoor nor outdoor.
Or maybe its because Im using yours w800 cid 36 drivers on my w800 cid 49??

Saturation for non EM/ENM is fine but since it also controls EM/ENM it makes pics in medium and low light (where EM/ENM is needed) come out looking unreal.
but you have to remember that lpachuong driver has big saturation 06 (for example 6.5T5 has 03). those pics are in full sunlight - saturation in this conditions should be almost none (00 or 01) to avoid unnatural colors, besides EM on those pics is completly useless because it won't work in good light conditions
small survey for all:
1. where to use other saturation? EM? ENM? self nightmode?
2. aren't ENM pictures (without LED) a bit too bright?
3. aren't ENM pictures (with LED) a bit too bright?

Yes. It is true that my drivers have higher saturation than Raiderski's drivers. Since I don't have CID36 or w810i to test so I mentioned before: If you have high saturation, then edit the driver and change the value of Satura=06 When you get the suitable value, please PM me so that I know what values should be applied.
