at least can anyone tell us if the 21st is about hard or software ?
i read in an article some time ago, that mr stringer is about to unveil(or still planing ?) an environment where the user has access to every sony owned music/video/game (something like itunes i guess). the user(or customer in that case) rewarded in this environment if he owns several sony products.
at least to me it sounded as if this is still some years off, but actually it makes even more sense now with sony ericsson even deeper integrated into sony. |

I have been told that its something to do with bluetooth technology. Somebody else said something about free energy whatever that means, hinting more towards accessories. Orange logo would suggest Walkman related stuff as far as I know. I'm quite interested in the technology side of things actually, a chance for some innovation. |

Aren't people over-thinking things a bit? Could just be the new walkman phone. With cool features(streaming music from your p.c/ps3 on the phone?) |

SE Headset for Sept, 21 isnt so great, turn on music/radio when you wear it, nice but so niche. Could put review now, but let them announce
From Eldars Blog as (posted by Xell originally on the thread discussing the sept 21 announcement)

Well bluetooth and fm radio are two technologies that don't normally go together. Correct me if I'm wrong but we still can't listen to the radio through our bluetooth headsets.

Is Eldar suggesting something like a voice control headset? Say "zero gravity" and it plays that annoying default alarm track that you cannot delete. I guess that would close to, if not, a world first. There must something cooler than that for a build up like this.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

There are two possible ways to integrate an FM or HD radio in a bluetooth headset. one is to integrate the radio module itself on the bluetooth device. so that would have its own LCD display and buttons like this:
the other would be an HD radio reciever built inside the handset and then later on transferred through a fast bluetooth connection on the headset itself. but since it seems like we have an accessory-only announcement, and this implementation is impossible without an HD radio enabled phone we may forget about this
I believe what me might be seeing here would be something that any phone manufacturers haven't touched yet, so for that my bets were built in HD radio reciever, Digital Noise Cancelling, headset with a Color LCD that displays an image slideshow(Cool), or a voice/gesture controlled headset.

the wireless headset that ships with Aino allows the user to listen to fm radio. i saw a video of it some where of it fully functional!
@razec
the 1st option you listed is definately more plausable!!!
