As i didn't manage to blag a free microSD from Vodafone, I'm now looking to order one myself.
Can somebody tell me why this card is so expensive?...

Whereas this one is more like the price I would expect...

I would assume one of those cards is a different class than the other. Though, it is not clear on that site. The higher priced card has a circled 4 on the picture of the card. I think this means class 4, which indicates a higher transfer rate. I don't know what class SDHC X1 requires though.

Hi All,
Is anybody experiencing any problems installing Tom Tom 6 software on the X1??? it doesnt seem to be happening for me any one else having problems??
Also im really stuck between panels. I think its the battle etween looks and function. The SBP panel is easier to use cos you dont really need to use the stylus...and the xperia panel looks nicer with the analogue clock and flashy colours but is not as user freindly on the fingers.
Dont think there is the prefect panel that balances both aspects...any thoughts?
I put tomtom 7 on no problems. Works fine. Now just have to sell my standalone unit.
As for panels, have been usinf touchflow 3d. Apart form a few niggles it runs smoothly. The spb one looks good but havent used it much.
Few queries tho. With touchflow 3d I can't seem to produce a playlist in the music menu. I click add playlist but nothing happens. Also the youtube link on the internet page doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix these issues?
Tom Tom 7???? Where can you purchase that from??? I cant find it anywhere!

You know SE. They give a date but it's usually a month after the posted date that anything ever arises.
I say, look forward to an announcement in December haha. |

They better make it on time because the T-Omnia is coming out and is coming out fast. Finaly, a all arounder with a decent camera on a WM device. I am very much tempted of getting mine before christmas I see Korea (once again when it comes to Samsung) will get it first (like in now). It looks like T-Omnia is what X1 should have been (minus the panels gimmick)

^^ Here we go again
@mario2004
Have you ordered your X1 yet? Else, you're going to have to move to Korea to get the T-Omnia.

X1 has the best camera I've seen so far on a WM device. It's crap compared to the K800 or even the K750, but still way better than other WM devices. Actually the X1 camera photos are fantastic at about 50 percent resize, well and truly enough to print really great 6x4 holiday snaps. Colour balance is quite good.
But like all WM cameras at full resolution too many compression artifacts.

whybe is correct although that is still quite expensive. I rang x1 support and they said x1 supports all classes. I could not find a class 6 16gb card tho LOL. I dont think they exsist, yet. best i could find was a class 6 8gb
Class 2 = 2mb per sec
Class 4 = 4mb per sec
Class 6 = 6mb per sec |

@l337h1um:
Darn, I was about to let you have it.
I would have always considered the one with an 'e' a mispelling. I never see that one. But googling both words shows far more definitions for the one with the 'i'. It is the most common spelling over here. Different spellings...same meanings.

hey Mizz/anyone informed like Mizzle , do you know whether or not SE is going to be generous with firmware updates? Or are panels all we can expect to get in the future? Also, how would firmware updates work? I've been told Windows update doesnt really do anything, so I dont suppose it would use SEUS? Or does it come with its own PC software for updates? |
