JUZ WANNA SHARE SOMETHING BOUT PREPAID!!!
i m using a T610 now and i wish i could use GPRS like u guys but unfortunately da Maxis prepaid doesnt offer this service. (they used to but for a limited period of time only).
DOnt know when maxis gonna officially launch da GPRS for us leh(all the prepaid users). DIGI pun sulah ada but why maxis blum ada?? i wonder why???? anybody got any idea when?
there are actually a few reason i m still sticking with prepaid.
1) monthly usage less than RM 100 using prepaid. Juz imagine using post paid?
2) the main reason is not da fees, but da number.... i've got quite a nice number loh.
3) i've been using Hotlink since it's launching ( app.5-6 years liao). quite troublesome to inform everyone bout da new number.
of course in da future, i hope we can change our existing prepaid number to postpaid loh or vice versa. do ya all agree with me?

M-flex is a prepaid maxis service that have GPRS and only RM99 per month.
Third,

I have been using Maxis almost 4 yrs now with supplement line (my wife) under my a/c. Right now I only have to pay less than RM30 after deducting loyalty, family package and prompt discount for both line :-D plus they have increased my credit limit to RM800. Imagine how much have u wasted using prepaid (5 yrs-loyalty discount). ;-)

Based on the comparison chart yapliren provided, DiGi is the cheapest. Luckily I am using DiGi to surf GPRS while I mainly use maxis to SMS (maxis to maxis 10 cents only ma) and make voice calls.

One thing about Maxis is their customer service. I had so many sweet experience with them, and they are the best in town. Their gprs coverage is quite extensive too. Interactive menu and pay-by-phone is very helpful. For me services is very important thing to set ur mind at peace as everything is being taken of. Juz imagine SE in KL without Ericserve !! :-D

One thing I like about DiGi is that when your prepaid simcard gets stolen or lost, you can still get back your old number and the balance, at the same time block the existing one so that the person who got your simcard can't utilise the credit. (Provided you register with them)
But Hotlink cannot do that. A family member's handbag was snatched recently, and when called maxis, they cannot block prepaid simcards, and to think that the stolen simcard has >RM200 credit in it. Da**! The credit lost just like that!
