Well there are some minor build quality issues but I'll live through it, i.e. a slightly wobbly camera lens cover and the slider moves a bit to the sides although won't notice it unless I really try. But the camera is hell good coming from a W890 (and C702 in some cases). |

So I did a FOTA update for the first time in my life, now running R1DA032, and guess what? All my apps and contacts stayed unharmed! How is that possible? |

after 5 months of trouble free use i have just had the earphone failure.
it works during a call if you press the c button.will it continue like this or does it fail completely?
it dont really want to send it away for repair as i find that the phones usually come back scratched or in worse condition than i sent them.

Since you live near UK you can prolly get yourself a spare flex cable off ebay, download some repair videos and do a DIY on your C905. Can't say the same for us Asians though. |

i've got the c905 dissassembly pdf,looks very complicated with lots to go wrong when re-assembling.

I have updated both c702 and c905 and for the c905 i have had a brod thing i starts loosing memory and then it wont start have to flash it and it generally slower and don try to divert to a number in a profile it craches i am on da32 and soon 35 will come for the c702 dont try to connect to seus just to check for new firm it will crash i think the quality sucks ;-( |

Can some 1 tell me what kind of file c905 have in the phone mem the name is unma rote1 its in filemanager undr other file look like a loggfile |

Its fallen greatly, i'm glad i lost mine lol gonna use the money to buy a car  i would say they're worth around 250, in november i bought mine for 320 |

Using the Update Service on the phone to do an Over The Air update will keep the data intact, but it's worth noting that you usually wait a lot longer for the FOTA version, compared to using the online (PC-based) update service.
I now have a 2009 C905 after getting mine swapped, and so far so good. I was going to say it feels solid, but I remember my C905 being like this when I first got it - so I have to accept that it's not going to keep like this for long.
