http://www.engadget.com/2010/[....]-rooted-all-is-right-with-the/

Read this alright

"Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 has been out and about for some time, facing off against the competition and predictably getting ripped to shreds"

And then read the comments

I'm telling you, the web does not support X10 for some reason. Engadget is not the only place but many websites just don't write good enough about X10 due to Android 1.6 but they don't understand the phone is more about hardware and style too!

Took a roadtrip yesterday ~160km to Gothenburg and went back home today ~160km, using the 12v charger(Original) and Wisepilot for navigation, gps and a-gps ON

Things i noticed

When you unplugg the phone is not fully charged? (62%) (Was using wispilot(gps) and streaming 160kbit Spotify(bluetooth))

and when you listen to spotify and are using Wisepilot you can not change track with the BT mw600 heatset

Thoughts and experiences with using the phone while plugged in? (Yes i saw the flash/charger icon the charger is not faulty)

Is it due to that the 12v charger is slower(less power) than the 240v one? or does just gps and bt use to much and it cant keep up?

Hi, is anyone with 02 UK? Everytime i contact their call centre regarding the latest update they keep referring to 2.1! They dont seem to be aware there is an intermediate release by SE. If anyone else has had any luck id love to here.

Thanks A

Try what's stated here for updating to generic UK FW R2BA020. Read the whole thread as the SEUS system has upgraded the way it works from when the first post was last updated. Page 26 describes what's different. I tried this a couple days ago and it was fine. No issues and now I'm upto date and debranded.
I have a dig bick

I was happy to find my new X10 I got yesterday already had new firmware installed But I need to know is the X10 screen supposed to be scratch proof or not? I am always careful & only after 2 days a small very thin mark has appeared though it's only noticable in bright light & it's very small & thin I think it was caused by something in my jeans pocket. I since got a screen protector but cannot for the life of me ever put them things on properly
Phone?? What phone??

already applied a screen protector, difficult to remove, apart from the one easily removable and badly placed (with bubbles)

hello guys
after the update,
-still got the annoying screen lock after the call has ended and it was me that made the call, any setting to stop that i am not aware of????????????
-the in call volume still CRAPPY
-about the call log:is there a way to switch it to a compact mode so you don't see the same number like a million time???
-the battery life was very good before the update and still after it
-is there any phone lock code on this device?
-the ringtone and media sound from the speaker has poor quality compared to my G900 or K750i
Except these minor issues, the phone is superb better then my sister's 3GS and my bro's HTC touch HD

thank you all.

Yes I would say that the only things I don't like is in call volume & slightly tinny speaker but apart from that it's become my dream phone

My phone keeps asking for PIN after a few minutes in sleep. Bug or new setting?

GESTURE LOCK not numbers instead a 4 pattern "swipe" works real well i think, you can make it vissible and unvissible for even more privacy if people are staring when you unlock your phone, just check the settings for lock/gesture lock
