Hey guys, lpachuong, Raiderski, Sarmad, Dargmagician you guys are doing excellent job by creating new drivers. We Users have to really thank that for you. A humble request to you all is to design to indivdual drivers for k750i and w810i, because both phones are different.

Driver 6.5 TEST 5
last before FINAL version

link:
http://downloads.wow-info.net[....]amdriver_65TEST5_by_raider.zip

changelog:

- fix: misprint in sharpness initialization code

i've found this by myself soon after TEST4 release but big cup of ice-creams should go to cronos555 because he alarmed me that something is wrong with sharpness in nightmode photos

- fix: small cast of yellow color in "cloudy landscape" profile doesn't work

- improve: infinity focus and manual focus allowed in video mode

- improve: contrast reduced from 01 to 00 (eliminates small overexposure problems)

- improve: saturation for normal and night mode integrated into one parameter

- improve: a bit better compression rules for ENM

- improve: rewritten documentation in FAQ form

ok, two things:

1. documentation
previous doc was hard to understand, many people asked about things which were explained in doc

2. contrast reduction
first of all, i would like to say that contrast is mix of exposure and brightness and this is far from REAL contrast. original value of "contrast" was 01 but in my opinion 00 is better because this value eliminates small overexposure problems (no white spots, more details) and have almost none influence on brightness in low and very low light conditions. if you want proof check this:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/07pi7a

test 1: auto + focus infinity
DSC08155 (contrast 01)
DSC08156 (contrast 00)
compare sky, white wall in bottom left corner

test 2: auto + focus infinity
DSC08164 (contrast 01)
DSC08166 (contrast 00)
compare window area

test 3: ENM + LED + focus infinity
DSC08167 (contrast 01)
DSC08168 (contrast 00)
compare white spot at washbasin

Hello Everyone,

@Raiderski
Thank you for your great drivers!

Could you explain how to make photos like you do:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1321/1180449481_e9f1841677.jpg
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1116/1135492483_14a8b14efe.jpg?v=0

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1145/828856479_527b680989.jpg?v=0

Infinity? Manual saturation? What shutter speed do you use for photos like this above?

Fine work, Raidersky! I have only one q. Why did ya put saturation on EV position -1.0. I think -0.3 is better choise, so the 'white balances' can go in progression... It's nothing serious

you welcome

i remember every settings because i'm lazy enough and that's why i use automatic in 99% photos (+ focus infinity for long distance)

PIC #1
auto settings + focus infinity
colors: auto (default saturation from TEST 5 version)
they are a bit strange because of early morning (sun was low)

PIC #2
auto settings + focus infinity
colors: auto (default saturation from TEST 5 version)
there is a good situation: i'm in shaded place and no accidental sun rays was on sensor

PIC #3
auto + nightmode + focus infinity
colors: driver 6.4 (default saturation value is 06)

PIC #4
auto + focus infinity
colors: driver 6.4 (default saturation value is 06)
this one is really strange, a bit unreal. i wanted to take clouds shot (autoexposure darkens the forest) but in this moment was really nice sunny weather and grass was strongly lighted. that is why autoexposure gave up and green color is visible

this is no problem. i will release GUI configuration tool soon and you'll be able to displace functions as you want

lpachuong
muchas gracias still some work to do with configuraton tool

Good work, raider! Gz!

Which driver? You mean Sarmad 5.8 with A4A 6.2 compression settings?

to be honest, I don't have an idea why should your camera shut down. It uses Sarmad's original 600KB (or 585 KB) buffer size limits which can't cause any problems. And both Sarmad 5.8 and A4A 6.2 work on both CIDs.
I do it from behind...

Thank you for reply, I have uploaded the driver again: now it works perfectly... But tell my: What influence on picturesize and picture quality has your sarmad 5.8 mod?? I had no problems with original sarmad 5.8, but as ususal i want to improve quality of pictures
And I am specially interested in a spot mode - for exaple: normal mode -> spot off, fine mode spot on. But I do not know how to mod this (???)

Randolph

@Raider: Is it possible to control saturation and contrast for EM/ENM separately from normal mode?

I see there is no different about the quality between 6.5 T5 and w810i original rather than the supermode.

Si, Raidersky, I almost forgot. 'Bout your new tool. The new age of camdriver modding, perhaps
