one hint, if some source could confirm sofia's video framerate to reach 30Fps at QVGA, then i'm very sure it'll be utilizing the TI-omap 2420 CPU 
this is because if we construct some history, some topics have already mentioned the weakness of the nexperia CPU to record 30 FPS videos in QVGA, so the only CPU afaik to enable 30fps recording was the CPU evidently compatible with UIQ 3.1; the 2420!!!

I already said a few posts back Sofia will not exceed 15fps QVGA. Why do you all keep fantasising of VGA? or 30fps QVGA?

Are you absolutely sure??? 250 mHz isn't really much of an improvement on the K800's 210 mHz and the K800's already very slow opening 3.2 MP pictures. Just imagine a 5 MP one'll take ages to load!

I'm sure it's roughly 250mhz. The 3d chip should make all the difference if implemented correctly. |

Didn't really think the 3D chip would make a difference, but that at least comforts me. Plus the toll on battery life will be small (I hope).

but it could be better if sofia uses Nvidia goforce 5500 chip, no more need for a super high speed CPU if this incredible GPU assist a 210Mhz. just in case with the W900 which has only 100Mhz anyway i'm not fantasizing! i'm just constructing some analysis!

i think combining TI-OMAP 2420 CPU and GoForce 5500 is not possible, just because imho both processors don't have compatibility with itself, and i can't remember any symbian device to have GoForce 5500 chip instead the second-rate PowerVr GPU. it think it's some kind of binary incompatibility. so if sofia would have NVIDIA chip it won't be a UIQ smartphone(otherwise it could be Windows!!! ), seriously

I mean did you own Sofia ?? used it ?? or know some insiders ??

aight, im finally back from doing some great stuff lol.
250Mhz 333Mhz won't make much difference as long as u are not running a smartphone system. if ur MSDP card is slow it'll be slow forever no matter what you do. take the most theoratic example of saving pic, the difference between taking 1.2 sec and 1.0 sec to save, no effect on user experience really.
also, it depends on the software (c.f. MAC OSX & Windows Vista) as well as the amount of RAM (again hardware AND software vis s60 with/without FP1)
and most importantly the battery performance, (xenon flash remember?)
