What firmware do you have @qa12 ??
Is your phone branded, locked or sim free?

@haynesycop, i would like to see this working as it saves us touching the screen to put it on silent mode, i don't belive that some p990i's are working and some aren't by pressing the Del key!! really frustrating....

man we r talking about 2 different things
1- making the phone silent while ringing (and this can be done by pressing del/backspace) because silent will not be on the screen

2- in full silent mode make the phone alarm(it only viberats)

Exacly.... There doesn't seem to be a way to put the phone in silence-mode by pressing a button in FO as there is in FC. In FC you press and hold the c-button for a sec... the same function isn't, for what I know, availible by pressing a button in FO.

What i want to do is make the phone goto silent mode without touching the screen, not when calling someone.

Thanks

Has anyone else noticed with the music player, if you have a track say 3 hours long (yes i do have some like that recordings of the radio) the music player only shows 99mins and u just can't fast forward it either.

Is it normal that the screen gets transitorily white when you open / close the flip?
Thanks [addsig]

@bandit

Sory to hear that mate, it is a real horor. Try first with software update. I had a similar experience with P910 and it was due to softwer. After a regular charging it simply died and I had to reinstal the OS.
