At first, flashing failed several times (at about 95%). When I tried to start the phone, it had the new FW version, old camera version 4.5 (!) and only english menues (I am swedish). I did a master reset, and then flashing succeeded, but still only english menues.

Any ideas?

I think the improvements in R1CA021 might be too 'technical' to understand by laymen like me..who knows the Java system improves greatly inside..
Anyway is it normal for a phone offering frequent new f/w during its life cycle? Does other brand do the same? Sometimes it's so tiring to update and re-update on and on..

and then again it all depends to the user... if hes satisfied in a firmware... whats the use of updating...

this only means that SE really gives it customers the exetnded options... thats why i luv SE... actually thats the exciting part.. youll never know wots instore even after months of purchasing their units.

Brankar> Yes, I am using SEUS II (the standalone flashbased app), latest version since it updates itself. I tried reinstalling it.

I upgraded my K750i from R1J to R1BC and found that the video playback quality in fullscreen mode has gone down. Anyone facing the same prob?

R1BC has the remote screen option. Dunno about the prev versions. But couldn't figure out its use. The bluetooth application on my desktop said a remote system connected to the imaging service. But it ended there. No further screens or any prompts.

you have two ways now. first - delete DB folder in Program files/Sony Ericsson/Update and re-update again. Swedish will appear, if no - then master reset. Luck!
second - service center. Choose.

I'm not able to decide whether to upgrade my K750i from R1BC002 to R1CA021 . Except for the deteoration in video playback quality, I don't have much complaints from my current version. I don't see any remarkable improvements in camera quality in R1CA021 from the pics rockygali posted. SOmeone pls help me decide.
