@sanjeev and gil
the thing is, if i tell him, what can he do about it? I don't think those "pariah" stalls will allow a refund or exhange....so telling him won't help him at all except to spoil his fun...i dunno... |

@Novell, true, but can't he complain to DiGi or the consumers ministry or sumthin' ? If they refuse to change, then ask him to hang around the stall and tell pottential customers of the stall... At least puas hati a little I know la that its a hassle but it all comes down to the individual... if he is the ''tidak apa" type of attitude, then don't tell him la... no point worrying him, but if he is one who fights for his rights... then better tell him la... |

4 those interested in the xda2, try digital gadgets at low yat ground floor. There's some promo now. I'll just add in tat its microsoft based os ok, hence, it comes with tons of freebies like bugs, hacker back doors, virus incubation areas, etc. :-)

@rufq: Use the P800 for a month, then see if you still need an XDA2... :)

Yeah I agree with Sanjeev. 1 device is enough. Better to choose P800 or XDA II.
About me being unable to access Esato Malaysian thread, I tried a few times everyday but I am still unable to access. Strangely other threads I can do so. Just the Malaysian thread cannot.

well guys, that guy bought the p800 as a present for his cousin, so practically it's not his, he still got to spend like 2,3 or even 3.5k for a phone (P800,P900 or xda ii)
So just in case u are looking for a new and POWERFUL phone, i strongly recommend the xda ii
Had been playing around for a week, damn nice, especially using the wifi card
Anyway i manage to purchase the xda ii + SD wifi card +128MB SD RAM at Megamall PDA Solutions, went to Low Yatt and Sg Wang, damn the prices are expensive, RM3488 with free 64MB MMC card and RM3.42k without, but then the sd wifi card is a cut throat at low yatt, after much considering i bought it in Megamall instead as they offer a better deal in package
So just in case u are wondering whether to spend rm2.3k on a P800 or RM3k + for a P900 , i will recommend u to add another rm400 to get the xda ii, afterall when u can afford rm3k, why not rm3.4k , with the rm400, u get the cheaper mmc/sd slot, SDIO wifi(optional), PPC 2003, 400MHz, 128MB built in memory (RAM), flashable ROM, microsoft applications fully compatible with ur PC/Laptop windows,multi tasking, bla bla bla bla
Anyway my fren just bought a new Tungsten W today, didt really play with it much, anybody using the Tungsten C?? How is it compared to the T3??? From the specs the tungsten C looks damn powerful!!

Does the PPC, even though it is hang often as claimed by some other web sites, with users having to do soft resets almost everyday? Never used a PPC before, what I know is only from reading.

veon, the guy said get the P800 from cous... not for cous
anyway, you need to wait for PPC patch for xda2 la, because it is a phone so basically it run more processes on background. And for microsoft windows mobile2003, it got the limitation for running background processes. So it end up with you can't run alot of multi task for XDA2. The hardware is powerful, but MS stuff .. hehe

@veon
Tungsten C and tungsten T3 are almost the same specs but the OS version is different and T3 has virtual graffiti and 320x480 resolution! trust me man, after using the T3 any other Palm will not feel the same again especially wif the screen
ehm, yap... any other comparisons to make? congrats on ur new t3 man. welcome back to the brightside hehehehe |

T|C with a dumbpad(thumbpad) and the stupid mono sound which play by using cheap nokia headset. It can't play mp3 in stereo either by speaker or headphone |

soli soli guys, need to go for an eye check, have to drink a lot of chicken essence...hahaha......saw the 'from' as 'for...soli soli, pai seh
Anyway in the case for a normal person no need to have 2 smartphones gua, unless u have ur own personal reasons la....
Just to clarify things, the xda ii i bought was just doing a favour for my fren, coz he was outstation and he wants the phone desperately, NOT MINE, but then i have the opportunity to install app and play with it for almost a week
Anyway the 'hang' problem never occurred b4 with my fren's xda ii, I soft reset it every 2 days just to make sure it runs smoothly without much lag for a whole two of days' period, anyway soft reset b4 going to sleep, or just after waking up in the morning wont hurt, after all it's just less than a minute thing, another good thing is it has 2 internal battery inside it, one is the main and the other is a backup, just in case ur main batt habis, then still got the other battery to secure ur RAM
Yea, i had a bad experience with my low and medium end m130 and m515 last time, gives me the chills whenever i hear the word palm OS since then, but then i had been told the tungsten series is totally different, next time gathering i wanna play play with T3 man |
