@senisho, i've come across a vodabrand p910 b4 and the problem with it is that the settings are greyed out & therefore cant be edited. there's no futher unlocking you can do in Nija as far as i'm concerned & the only option you have is to go the davinci way (search esato for davinci). i believe you can still use the symbian opera software(not operamini) by downling from opera.com & input the vmobile proxy in the settings.

UP BRAZIL.
Down togo they messed up.

@ALL, Nitel in telecomms is has important has Nepa in Electricity in Nigeria, so if nitel coughs everybody is affected except globalcom which would b afected partially, because global com is a national carrier ie 2nd national carrier, it has direct access to international hubs.

@all i pray that this strick would not affect sat 3 cable, although those nitel guys are planning to throw some spanners in the works of sat 3, i pray/hope their plans does not sail through. amen. because i'm heavly dependant on sat 3 for my internet connections.

ABU AGAIN!!!!

NCC and the ministry of Comm. forces all PTO's to route thier calls (especially inter state calls) thru NITEL. most pto interconnection goes thru NITEL thus the problem we are in now.

Im not even watchin the world cup. Im not much a football fan unless naija is playing.

@all: i had to register at the university hotspot to get some wifi action!!! was tired of going to cafes and rushing. It put me back N2500 per month (and a 15min drive) but at least i can be online for as long as my battery holds before i have to look for a charging point!!!!

@areaf: i thot u were supposed to represent me?!?!?! i havnt seen any fighting on the thread. you are not doing your job oo!

@abu that's a big shoe that u are passing to me but I'll try my best to fill it while nitel restores their network.

@all, on Radio recently and advert was running asking the question "who do u what to b the next president of nigeria come 2007 and why?"

Mine is Obasanjo, why, he is discovering or rebranding Nigeria very well internationally.
what r ur opinions?

@areaf: EHEEEEEN!!!!! that is the way!!!!!!! anyway, if we needed someone to rebrand Nigeria internationally, let us gt someone more eloquent. but i need a president that can reform a country. a reformed nigeria will do more to our international image than a gorilla jumping from G8 meetings to commonwealth confrences!!! (i didnt call anyone gorilla oooo! it is a figure of speech!!!!!!) every company that has come to Naija in this administration would have come anyway due to international market forces, not because we have put suitable policies in place or the environment for setting up shop (electricity, cheap telecomms, housing, construction materials, transport etc) has improved. if electricity and telecomms can become more available naija would overtake India in outsourced jobs like Customer service etc!!! with the amount of programmers on round Microsoft would leave silicon valley and come to the true silicon valley.......Maiduguri!!!!!!

Abu you couldn't have put it any better. It bafflles me that Obj and his cohort of ministers & advisers fail to realise that providing basic infrastructure (power, communication, security) will make Nigeria more attractive to potential investors.

I'd love to have someone like Gov. Donald Duke as president of Nigeria come 2007

i support abu & amby, Nija's problem is that if infrastructure which everyone knows, even primary school students know this.. Obj's round tripping doesn't have any effect on Nija's progress IMO.. Donald Duke is not a bad idea considering what he's done so far.

Yeah, Duke is ok. But I think the Igbos should produce the next Prez. So, my choices are Emeka Anyaoku and Orji Kalu in that order.
