By the time being, there were more smartphones based on android to hit the market than S60 5th, which suggest that Symbian will continuously loose its ground on smartphone market and might end up in dying before they release their new SF OS. and when their new OS comes, android has conquered the mobile OS market.

So you're saying Rachael and not Satio? If you'd have to pick one i mean |

So what if Opera is made for Android? Skyfire is available for both WinMo and S60 and it's hands down the best mobile browser I've ever seen.
The Webkit based browser that the Satio has seems to be quite good on its own too. |

Lol I find Skyfire crap compared to Opera products,
including rendering.

Webkit in S60 has been improved: E55, E52, E72, and N86 all feature the update and its MUCH faster and better at rendering sites including those with Flash Lite 3.0/3.1 in use.

The flaw in this calculation is that there are a LOT more S60 3.1/3.2 devices on the market than simply 5 on 5th Edition
5h Edition:
- N97
- N97 Mini
- 5800
- 5820 or something like that
- X6
S60 3.1/3.2 Edition:
- E52
- E55
- E72
- E71
- E66
- N86
The latter 3 are STILL very popular and still shipping and still offered by many carriers worldwide. Do NOT count those out as the majority of sales & on contract shipments for marketshare. At this point MarketShare is a falsehood of success; only shows what developers SHOULD be making apps for. With 30Million+ iPhones sold you KNOW where developers are shipping their wares too - especially since NO pirating exists they get FULL pay for their work distributed.

There is enough piracy for the iPhone and the reason many developers are shipping their wares to the iPhone is that iPhone users download much more software and not that there are more iPhones, because that's bs.
Anyway, it seems obvious to me that Symbian is losing market share to Android. |

Seems like this LG android is nothing special specs wise it looks similar to Dext and Galaxy and Rachael remains to be the only 8mp android phone seen. just take a look at the official shots, the UI is the horrible default android design. I hope they could make it at least better than the default one. I7500 Galaxy sucked because of Samsung's stupid move not to implement a customized UI in it.

Its android. You'll be able to add(port) any skin, HTC Sense or MOTOBLUR. Xda developers and other guys wil sort that out.
And as pipo keep saying, its jus an approach. Release a mid-end without customisation then the gud stuff. Both samsung and htc did it |

I don't think the default Android skin is horrible. It's good. Not as good as HTC Sense or MOTOBLUR, but it's quite good.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |
