I dont want to discuss about that. To be honest, I don't have a w810i to test so I can't say anything. I just guarantee the compression method on my driver. Why don't you try it and then tell us how bad A4A-6.5 is
i always want to test how good it is not how bad. any way i will give a go for it. |

i'm sceptical because i've tested this already without effect
if you take photo bigger than 616 KB this will be good proof and i will repeat my test. at this moment file size below 616 KB isn't any proof Sarmad's 5.8 compression is really high and because of that file size above 600 KB is typical
currently compression topic is closed for me - 6.5 Tx is stable enough. i appreciate your work, maybe you will find something useful - continue your work

sarmad driver give the best compression
well, maybe not "the best" but "low". everyone can use low compression too but what for? W810 will not be harmed by this compression rules but not K750/W800
Mr.Kaja
100% agree!
we should really close compression topic until someone discovers something new

Oh, sorry, maybe you didn't read it carefully, raiderski. We just discuss about that scene And i also sorry bcz I forgot sarmad's driver's compression is modded by me so i forgot that its original compression is low 1 more thing: We have closed this topic 0.5 hour ago, we are talking about quality now

..... SPU driver has the best compression I think. You will always get from 520-600kb or even 650kb+ as Kája said. And as you said, sarmad driver give the best compression at tricky scene. For me,your chosen scene is really tricky and I would like to give up with it .....

Your A4A 6.5 final is out. Does it produce same quality of pictures on k750i and w810i. Both are different phones. and w810i can handle bigger buffer sizes as power_vano said.
It needs testing, no-one can guarantee better quality on w810 without a test but I am pretty sure that A4A 6.5 wont crash on w810 because of bigger buffer size
Maybe some w810 users can test A4A 6.5 to achieve big 600+ pictures?

yes, 6.5 t4 worked very well in stability test, it only crashed 2 or three times as I remember. Okay, I will continue, maybe I can get pic over 616 KB
I do it from behind...

Damned mistake:) I send answer and nothing happened:( So shortly: I have sharper as well as smootcher fotos with 600kb:) I think, default compression is enought to take almost max quality... With higher compression, yu get more artefacts and mistakes on pictures...I don't think, there is usually at my photos. About noise, no, I think, you can't get less noise at camera with less compression now. And finally, I think, our mobiles takes photos as big, as in ordinery camera. I saw 2 digital cameras with 2Mpix and they got about 450-650kb...that's not so much.
Sorry for chaotic text, I had to write it 2times:)
You are right. Our phones are just at that limit. We shouldn't break the limit for nothing but doing harm to our phones. I care about qualities much more than the size of the pictures. Nowadays we just carried out tests for fun and for some knowledge about it. And only good firmware can make big files. Good night everyone. Tomorrow I will post 2 drivers for 2 seperate modules as requested.

man man man!!!
you all are misunderstanding..what i mean
i never said w810i will crash or something..i donno about coding stuffs..
i am just saying if w810i can handle bigger buffer size ..then why there is need to compromise just for k750i.. as k750i crashes with bigger file size..so best way is to make drivers in taking mind of firmware, phone or whatever
one for w810i which can handle bigger file size (to its maximum limit not to k750i limit :|) and k750i..which handle less
thanx
please correct if i am wrong..but will be best to have different driver for w810i and k750i

yes, you are right, w810 can handle at least 100 more KB buffer size than k750 can. But neither lpachuong, nor Raiderski have w810 to test their drivers Only Sarmad owns w810, but I wonder where is he?

Hi Vano, I am sorry, but your driver causes my phone to shut down the camera immediatly after i open it. Can this be caused by my CID49 phone with CID36 cam module? Is there something in your driver that checks for CID49 or CID36 and gets confused??
I really would like to try out bigger buffer sizes in Sarmad 5.8 - do i only have to change the buffer section or do I have to change more within the driver???
best regards,
Randolph

noob question ..
what do we need big buffer size if quality may be low???
personal i need quality, not pictures over 600 K...
i mean, it doesn't mater for me if a picture has 300k or 550k...
and yes we need some 810 drivers ...but if a k750/w800 driver gives good results on my w810 then....it's OK
@Raider
can't wait for your next driver!!!!
