I put the sim card in my old K700...it shows only the gprs blue line but not the triangle.i think i will wait couple of days-maybe somethings wrong with my service providers.or i will put my sim card in my friends SE phone and see if the triangle still appears.

My P990 seems to be pretty much stable for the past few weeks. However, I am having major problems with the FM radio. Shortly after I turn on the radio the phone reboots and says it recovered from a system error. I've tried at least 10 times today and the result is the same. Anyone having a similar problem?
Maybe it's just the weather Surely the SE engineers must have rigorously tested this feature (!) unless there is a hw problem with my P990.
Currently I'm not recommending any of my friends to buy the P990, at least not just yet. |

Ive used the radio a fair few times and its been fine. Ive never had a reboot whilst using it, however it did switch off every 2 minutes (or so) but I put this down to swiss manager pro thinking the phone is idle and closing apps when idle (its anoption in the prog) but I never had chance to test it properly as the trial expired.
Now it's expired and doesn't work the radio never switches off unexpectedly. Never had it reboot using it and report 'recovery from system failure' |

Does anyone use a screen protector wtih their 990?
I used one with my P800 and 910 from day one but the 990 screen seems more solid.
Views would be grarefully recieved.

Does everyone get a soft 'bleep' occasionaly when the 990 is 3/4 battery. Mine bleeps off and on, never when the batt is full just when it's down by 1/3, there is never a message on the screen. Anyone else experience this? Maybe it isn't the battery, maybe it doesn't like where I placed it or wants a beer - any ideas? |

Hi JoJo,
I would think they are still working on sorting out the P990 but I'm sure there will be plenty of warning. In as much as they will announce it at least 10 months before it arrives for testing. Sorry all i couldn't resist that.
Marc
