i've been recommended a ati radeon 7500 64mb DDR
about 80 squid..
anyone know if its any good? told it will piss on my gforce2 mx400 64mb?

yea the radeon 7500s r quite decent, n sounds gd for £80

Yeah i guess..
The bloke in the pc shop originally sold me my gforce2 and told me today that the radeon 7500 would be ALOT better?
I wanted the gforce4 128mb ddr but he kept saying the radeon would be better... i dont get it really as the gforce 4 was alot more expensive so i figured that it really must be better for him to not let me spend more.
now i'm confused tbh and think i'll go somewhere else

Yeah thanks mate uv confirmed what i was already thinking..... i wasn't sure to get it or not.
I really want a 128mb DDR NOT another 64mb card. Going to have a shop round tomoz! 
If anyone is interested i got my new HD working and installed windows 98 on it but was really slow for some reason? i was going to put xp update on it and see how good it was before reformatting my other HD but as it was so slow i just reformatted that one and set it up as a slave for the time being coz it was pissing me off so much!!
bastid HD!! its supposed to be faster than the one i've got as well?
anyway that was my friday night! LOL

that card i told u earlier is a 128mb DDR but it is a steep price wise!
hardly ne come wiv a 3 yr waranty tho!

Yeah i've read about the one u mentioned - it's suppost to be the dogs bollocks but a bit out of my price range unfortunately.
I was thinking of this one:
128mb MSI Gforce 4 TI4200 £123
Now on the site i'm looking at it doesn't say if it is DDR but when i was in the shop earlier it said it was?
Dunno going too have to have a good look round tomoz i think.
Will pay upto £150 so should get a decent one for that much i hope?!?
No point spending more than that coz my pc aint that fast.
