K750i debranding possible with DaVinci |

EEEEEEEEEEEK!!!! I think I've killed my phone.
Tried to flash my Orange branded 750i today, and it seems to work fine, until I get to the last part. Here is the log.

When I turn the phone on now, I get the message: "Configuration Error, contact your Network Providor or Service Centre" I've tried 3 times now, so I am able to flash it again, the Davinci Software still says I have a credit. What is happening and is there any way to fix my poor phone?

are u sure u finish the Finalization. it happen with me before but i had no credit try reflashing it but make sure u have credit and do that finalization! |

Hi there. I just checked out the SEUniverse forums and found two more guys there having the same problem. I think there is a problem with the Davinci server, as I definitely ticked Finalisation and had 3 different types of error each time. However, it was 4th time lucky for me and all is now well with my pretty new phone, cheers for your help tho! |

hello i am new to this site, i have a k750i and im on o2 network in uk, i want to debrand to get rid of the o2 stuff as far as i know my fone is already unlocked as it accepts any sim (is this unlocked) i would realy like it if someone could expliain to debranding process and let me know how to change the CDA?? so when i upgrade trough seus it doesnt put the o2 stuff back on!!!

make sure to check server status and info box before flashing. since gsmen is on vacation and server might need to be reset, so you dont end up with non-finalized phone. |

Using Davinci flash your phone, put the propper CDA (I think EMEA3 should work for greek but please double check!) and then you'll be able to use SEUS for further updates

Taking the plunge and going for a rebrand with DaVinci, from Uk Voda, but can't see the CDA102338/38
Have done update files etc and it still doesn't appear..am I being thick and missing something?

CDA102338/38 is not in the client/davinci listing
just type it in manually, i did with mine & mine flashed okay! from memory you have to tick the finalisation box next to it aswell... though that i'm not 100% sure... did mine three months ago |

Does anybody know what happened to the DaVinci team?
I have flashed my D750i into a K750i using DaVinci and am pleased with the results. SEUS however, does not work anymore. I understand why and I don't really mind, but does anybody know when DaVinci releases the newest firmware? The only thing I can find in this forum and on the DaVinci support forums are some references that they are on holiday or something but nothing conclusive. |

I not have a D750. When I had it once, I noticed that it was not possible to upgrade it after convertion to K750. This must have something to do with imei (TAC part). This part if imei defines what kind of phone it is, so K750, W800 or D750.

D750 was meant to be branded, so even if you flashed it with unbranded firmware AND changed to the correct CDA info, SEUS will not allow you to use it because the CDA doesn't match other info that is gathered from the phone during the update process.
So, the best you can hope for is that DaVinci make R1N035 available for their K750 flasher. The 10 euros are cheaper than buying an unbranded phone, so it's worth it  |

Could you tell us little about the small K750 file named something like "erom" that is available from the list in your K750 flasher... is it a repair file... how to use it when a K750 is dead etc.

I suspected as much. When will the newest firmware be released by DaVinci? I would be more than happy to spend another € 10 for the R1N035 firmware. |
