How much data rate can we practically obtain through ir?why cant i send pics from my 610 to my friends nok7210 ?

I could send pix to nokia 3200 without any problems. Maybe the pic was too large u wanted to send or the 2 fones doesnt support pic share.

@shyam - no, 3200 was one of the first of Nokias extended irda features like pics exchange. Probably the first from Series 40...

But i read in a thread that we can send the pics from 610 to 7210 and cannot do it the other way around !?

Oh ok but 3200 wasn't the first one  3650 came out much before that and even the 7650 which came out even earlier has full capability ir
