Some posters on a Dutch forum report problems with calling after installing this on their S3, any experiences here?

I tried it for all of 15 minutes. Slow and jerky. Have downgraded again to LG8.
Edit: A new leak, this one is from 14/08: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836802
The previous one was from 31/07.

Had my first play with the S3 on Friday . I must say that while I am entirely impressed with the smoothness and fluidity of the phone I am not convinced that I should upgrade from my S2 to the S3. It has a nice screen is faster but it is not enough to justify upgrading. Sort of like the iPhone 4 to 4s move last year.
With android 4.0.4 my S2 seems nearly as smooth and nice although not as fast as the S3.
The phone I had was an att version which as you may know is a dual core, 2GB of ram version. I will be purchasing an international unlocked version of the S3 this week for a buddy of mine. So I shall compare that as well.
The body of the S3 is smooth slim and sleek to the touch. Really feels nice but a bit long.
Overall a good phone just not worth me upgrading or anyone else who is satisfied with their S2.
Let us see what JB does for both phones .

Running a repackaged version of the 14/08 leak and its been working well so far, which it should as its classed as a "release keys" whereas the previous was "test keys". Some transparency issues/glitches on the homescreen and some apps not working (unsupported Android version, e.g. MX Player & SongPop) and a couple of FC's from Nova but nothing stopping it being a daily driver.
Unfortunately Sammy havent updated their proprietary apps, so they arent utilising the expandable notification function yet. To be honest, I'm really liking it but cant stand Sammy apps!
For stability I think a Sammy based ROM with full vanilla apps would be best bet now, hoping that MCR or others bring one out on official release. Saying that, when kernel source drops then the outstanding issues on CM and AOSP should be sorted so brings them back in the game.
Really liking the phone, great bit of hardware but personally it would have been better with just software keys - doesnt feel right having to physically press the home button and the capacitive keys are too low I think. |

Hi,
Just found two cracks in my SGS3 (blue) in the upper left corner of the light blue frame. I've never dropped the phone and it is soon 2 months old.I don't know when they appeared. Is it, like SE Arc, a known weakness or am I just having a bad luck?
Cheers,

That was my first thought also...
@ALL
I gave it a try, but I couldn't cope with using Sammy's JB ROMS... I've been spoilt with pure JB on the Gnex so had to flash a CM10 kang the other day... Now I'm just waiting for the release of "Liquid Jelly Bean" beta3 which I plan on having long term (haha, yeah right crack flasher!) |

Are these cracks on the back or front of the phone ?? a bit worrying imo.
Maybe its something to do with the blue version getting delayed when the phone was released ?
