I paid almost $12 for it. I bought it from eBay
Why Pink? That's my 1st choice - I had a white phone before (aino), then all my phones were black. My Ray is gold, so I wanna try something different. Im gonna get white cover too. not from the same seller though. his white has NTTDoCoMo's logo on it |

Is that really pink or reddish?
I love the gold btw. Having black cover as an option would be nice though.

I want to change the color of the aluminum frame of my XPERIA Ray. I have the gold one. Is it possible to use a paint stripper to get rid of the gold color of the frame? I tried using a sandpaper hoping to "polish" off the frame but unfortunately I just chipped the frame Anyone can help me on what's the best way to remedy this? |

wow, dude that`s scary! How can you dare to try before you know what the exit is going to be. I think first you need water sandpaper to polish the aluminum.. then I think you`ll need a enamel for general use or car paint with your chosen color. But I`m not sure what the exit will be, just guessing from other experiences. |

This is exactly what I did It left me with no other choice but to buy another unit. This time, I chose the safest colour: black. I also bought two other battery covers: one white and one pink (red-dish).
Now I just have to sell the other unit (the gold one) I don't know how much more I can sell this "damaged" unit
On a positive note: the black XPERIA Ray looks good on all the other battery cover colors: gold, pink and white. Even the gold battery cover (which I hate because of the aluminum frame) now looks so good with the black one. How I wish SE just left the aluminum frame all black or probably dark silver.
I will try to post some pics later this week.

The backcover is red-ish but the sides are definitely pink and girlish |

No it hasn't. Since the update I'm also getting a prompt each time I open the browser saying that the page can't be opened because there's no connection. Even though the page has actually loaded and I have a full signal. The phone has slowed down slightly and the back gets hotter quicker around where the antenna/camera is located.
On a plus side. The battery life has really improved. 2 maybe 3 days at moderate use now.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |
