Am I the only one to be impressed with the speaker of the mini pro? My other phone is a w995 with custom drivers (to make it louder) and i don't feel like missing much . The sound is deep and the volume is just excellent. Heard that the pro version is louder, don't know how it is on the mini.

I was also suprised about the volume of the speaker. I didn't expect it to be as loud or clear as it is. The only thing I want to do now is to stop the adverts appearing when using Advanced Task Killer. It keeps connecting to the internet which drains battery and is using my data allowance.

All I have done is turn the data off when I am not using it, no power saving app used.

i get about 2days from my usual usage, but i never switch 'data' off and leave 3g on all the time,

what does switching data off do, does it switch of gps, 3g and wifi?

i have both the power control widget and the data traffic one what would be the difference if everything on power control widget is off but data traffic is on?

Guys why is my mini pro opening apps by itself in the background? I mean I go to the advanced task killer to end an application (I don't know how else I can end the apps if they don't have EXIT in their menu) and I see that there are applications I never used running and even after killing them they just show up again. For example I go to advance task killer and see there are no programs running, then launch camera, close camera by pressing the back button, i go back to task killer and there is a list of applications i didn't run (messaging, settings, camera zoom fx, vignette, pro zoom camera 5x,playnow, handcent, roadsync)... what the %*%&^??

help anyone?

Same happens here on ours as well and it's documented that it will happen if you read the Help file. Set security to low, auto kill level to crazy and auto kill frequency to light off. When you restart ATK there will be an app listed for the homescreen. Add it to the ignore list. Doing that will give you around 104mb space. For battery saving. I've reduced the brightness to 50%, leave bluetooth, wifi, data off unless I need them and turn off 3g unless I need it. Also. I disable data to stop ATK from downloading adverts and keeping my internet connection constantly on which uses battery and my data allowance.

You shouldn't use a Task Killer on Android.
