So  aren't going to upgrade the phone to Android 2.0?

@boiing-Why dont you just keep out of here. What you are saying is just without any viable proof. Where have HTC said that they are going to release a handset with a 1 ghz cpu? The HTC dragon is scheduled to be announced at MWC, LG are planning to launch theirs in the 2nd quarter and the same with samsung. This shall be the first camera with multi-autofocus and thus the screen will probably support 16 m colors by the time it launches. It will the fastest android in the market along with the liquid,which obviously doesnt have much to write home about.So check your facts before you jump into conclusion.\\

We can't say that. Obviously has more plans for X10 which they don't want to/can't reveal right now.
We should be patient about that.

good deal with the screen, its a perfect phone for me now (mitigating the keyboard, cuz maybe ill get a N900 too)

android 2.0 will come, if it doesnt come from SE the public release of 2.1 should see other manufacuters upgrading. 1.0 was also a w/google release. 1.5 we saw some more handsets and 1.6 as well, so maybe the x.0 releases are for w/goog phones and the x.y releases are for everyone else ... ? i could be off, but what im trynna say is that 1.6 is good. and the phone is ready for 2.0 so no worries just patience.
2.0 is out which means that the day you get the device you can custom boot a new OS. im gonna give time/mediascape a try cuz the vanilla media player is some bunkery, i dont know about the camera though i would think that i would keep the OS around for the lens.
is it 720x480 (D1) for video? |

nah seriously.here is never going to be a perfect phone.Every manufacturer has a list by which it runs. There shall be phones for specific purposes. If a phone has everything why would someone else buy any other phone from the same manufacturer? |

They've already released a handset with a 1 ghz cpu. Are they going to release another one with Android on? Of course they are. Are they going to announce it six months in advance? No, they don't work like that, never have.

You are the one who conceded that the X10 would be available by february and now when the samsung and the Lg are scheduled for q2 release you say they will end up in stores earlier than the x10?How laughable is that? And for your kind info, the satio is selling for less than the n97 in the Uk, which is also less than the omniahd. I really dunno whayt you are getting at. |

Boing has some valid points. It will be a miracle if we see x10 in february. I dont know what is going wrong with them. Look at x2, almost the same phone as x1 but no release yet. Lets hope this time they will keep the promise. |
