So to summarise, as the C905 uses a larger (8MP) Sensor - along with Xenon Flash - and uses a HSUPA radio - realise that you are asking for a handset much more the size of the SO905iCS, which clocks in at roughly 24mm.
When you say larger sensor - are you refering only to the higher resolution or do you have the specs for the sensor used and know the size of it, i.e. 1/2.5", 1/2.8" etc?
Since it's focal length is 6mm, the same as in my i-mobile 902, I bet that the sensor is of the same size: 1/2.5". A larger sensor would mean that the lens has a wide angle and that doesn't seem to be the case judging the sample shots we've seen so far.

Sony DSC-Cameras also uses 72dpis just like SE C-S . i can't deem much point for a DPI increase. in nokia phones like N82 and N95, the output images have 300DPI but i can't tell the difference between my 72-DPI Sony Digicam with resolution set at 5megapixels.
maybe abubasim could explain something about this

300 dpi makes it perfect for borderless prints on 8x10 photo paper, or A4 with border.
In reality the dpi in a JPEG has almost no meaning apart from suggesting a print size. It has no meaning what so ever on the actual contents of the photo.

It is 5.9 mm, and Windows' file viewer rounded it up.
Why should they increase the DPI? There's absolutely no reason to do so as long as you're not printing anything, and when you are printing, you'll usually choose a size to print the photo in, and the DPI will automatically be adjusted by the application used for printing the photo - even Windows.

@Abu
My implication, that the C905 has a larger sensor is derived from Sony Ericsson's announcement - which makes this point.
However, having seen that the C905 uses a 5.91mm F/2.8 lens - meaning a 1/2.5" sensor. The focal equivalent to 35mm...
My previous post explaining the girth of the handset, takes its pointers from the Official announcement.

Aargh, it still has a tiny lens! A bigger lens would make the size of the phone more reasonable, and probably also the extra amount of MP's. SE would have better improved their 5 MP's with a bigger lens. The results could be a lot better than with just adding pixels and improving software.
I guess a phone camera will always be a snapshot camera.

Hello,
I currently own a 2-year old K800, which I am quite happy with.
However, C905 seems to be perfect successor in almost every aspect. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be any Music Quick Play button on the side of the phone (as my current phone) or does the Play button next to the camera shutter button work as a Music Play button as well?
Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance!
BR Martin
