Wow, amawanqa, I don't whether that monthly photo competition for flowers is over yet, but the picture with the blue flower in it looks like a winner to me.

Thanks. Yeah I eventually entered the black and white pic, as it was so different from the usual colour-loaded flower pics.
Perhaps I should've entered the blue one instead.
Oh well, life goes on, LOL.
BTW, the blue flower macro mode pic was also with the flash activated, and with the light setting turned right down to counteract over-exposure.

I made a mix of 6 pictures I like. I had to bring them to size a little bit ( standard settings,3 MP; I didn't even balanced the white at all).
