well, since we can use microsd instead of M2, we can get that coveted 8gbs sweet spot that the w960 holds.

oh yea! OH YEA!

cant wait. hopefully 16/32GB come out soon cuz i wouldnt mind 16gbs on my phone i could actually carry a respectable amount of music, albeit a fraction of what i want on me, but that coupled with 5mpx images and movies i can imagine how quickly itll get eaten up.

we dont know for sure how much capacity it can carry, some mini/micro SD phones do not support 4GB

if thats the case, then they are ripping me off, is it something that can be changed with firmware (the last time i had a SE phone memory sticks were the last thing that ppl had on their mind ... t610)

wondering about one thing. why in hell does you guys want so unbelievable large memory ? (ok, movies take some place on the memory. but i never look at movies on cell phones anyway. its no bigger joy i think.....my laptop does that job better).
i have 1gb right now on my k810i. i allways have like 500mb free/available (even that i have a lot of Mp3, pics).

because we have lots of songs, 500MB isnt a lot of songs. We take a lot of photos, 5MP photo will take well over 1MB. QVGA res. videos will also take up space

eehh. 100 songs is enough for me on one day tripp on the train (or what so ever) he he. when im bored, i just replace them. about the photos, i only save the best pics. (why carry around a lot of bad pics. just remove the bad ones, and save the good ones)

for me is 1gb large enough.

i mean i want the best features from the w960 and the k850 ... but i cant have both unless i buy them both. so ill do what i can to obtain the optimal phone for _MY_ needs, i would like the option! you dont have to follow suit but i have hundreds of gigs of music to be able to carry a fraction with me at a time would be acceptable esp fora phone, i think that i would like to have a device where i dont need a separate camera and digital music player and a cell phone. for now, i think that they should allow up to 64gb with these cards ... just in case a few months time and that will be realized if i want to buy it my phone shouldnt stop me from utilizing it.

No kidding, I recall the 8GB MSDP card costing as much as an 8GB iPod Nano. (I chose the Nano.)

Don't take the limit literally. Since 4 GB is the biggest microSD/M2 size available at present time (I think) thats what they have been able to test the phone with. It was same with e.g. K750, which was said to support MS upto 1 GB, but later when bigger cards arrived they worked equally well with K750.
