I agree this cartoon was an abuse of feedom of speech, humans know when something they say will or will not hurt someone. Thats why people dont go around calling names and stuff (well some idiots do).
Now was this an intentional abuse of islam, i dont know, i herd the paper printed the picture to get a raction or to make some kind of point.
They sure got a raction (proberbly not the one they wanted). And they have made some kind of point (about cencership of certain religions i beleave).
Are we forgetting this thread is also about the violent reaction, the wrong reaction. Not just the picture.

Why doesnt the killing of THOUSANDS of muslims in Iraq, Palestine, etc. spark as much rage in Muslims as a stupid comic??
I mean seriously- there has been internation retaliation to this cartoon, Muslims all over the world are protesting against it. AND YET, when greater crimes are being committed against thousands of muslims in these countries by the likes of America and Isreal (i.e. there soldiers), we never see such a reaction of this magnitude.
Dont get me wrong, im not underestimating the seriousness of these cartoons, i just believe that the situation in certain muslim countries is more serious and worthy of reaction than a cartoon.

Yes it is true what you say, i totally agree, im sure you have seen the anti war protests all over the world, and why aint they so angry more than iraq war are you saying? well simple actually, bcoz anyone who insults the prophet saw, is insulting the religion you see, but yes i still agree on you, there should be more protests about the war, but the funny thing is, is i wouldnt go to the protest, and you may ask you not, simply i personally believe that this iraq war was planned by bush and blair and the boys from the broother hood of death. so knowing that this was planned i dont think any protests will make a differents.

dont worry i havent 4gotten about. before i go further just to let u know i will be talking about my religion. you see in islam there is many proofs that islam is the correct path, but realisticy (normally when a muslim propogates he is not there to convince anyone, meaning that i cant stay hear all night trying to convince someone soo badly lol, his duty is just pass on the message, and showing proof of islam is the last final religion is ok.
anyways for me to show you proof about islam, u would need the quran (bible) bcoz if i just say it you probably wont believe me anyways, or maybe i can give you a few links to websites showing the miracles of islam. would that help? i dont know alot of websites just a few, so dont expect a library lol.

Many muslims beleave the war on iraq is a war on islam (i personally think its all about oil).
Now surly a war on islam is greater than an insult to the prophet?
But saying that i myself would get pissed of if someone attacted my country but would proberbly be more pissed of if someone insulted my father. (think i just answerd my own question  )
