to prepaid users:
when u call someone, may lalabas during the call to tell you how much you're spending na di ba? (when tariff is set to 0.1, P8.00/min ang lalabas)
but why is it na pag ako ng nga yun tinawagan, ako pa yun gumagastos (whose rate is P0.1 per 10 secs)..
d'you guys notice this...?

@fer,
yes i did notice it..
btw, on my phone its always .8/min .. and sometimes its 0.0/min ... its 0.1 on the tariff and my settings are okay naman.. weird.
prepaid rules, btw. I dont get tempted to overspend... (i used to get 10k+ bills using Smart and Globe postpaid before...). I usually spend 2500 bucks on prepaid cards a month. Thats 75% less than what I would spend on postpaid..
hehehe... no i cant be disciplined |

yah i noticed that too, pero ang tingin ko yun yung amount nung call nila. not necessarily na sayo binawas yung amount.
and i also have gprs access since early this year, kaso di naman libre ah. nauubos prepaid ko pag gumamit ako ng gprs.
pero mms, ayaw talaga gumana. sayang, gusto ko pa naman umabot dun sa aug31 deadline ng globe. |

there is no truth to the allegation that prepaid GPRS users gets charged for it's usage.
I have tried surfing on a preapid GPRS SIM (without any credits left). Wala namang problema, if they had been charging me for GPRS use, i shouldn't have been able to use the service. |

It seems like you finally got your hands on a prepaid SIM with GPRS.

Why don't you just use postpaid then let your phone's cost settings CONTROL you?
Anyway I tried using an old 8k Globe SIM (that I've known not to have GPRS) yesterday and it worked! Zero balance, but works. Ain't that value-for-(no)money? Me thinks Globe's gonna start charging soon....

@every prepaid user here
Mga bossing may question lang ako. I tried searching the threads about this issue but i cant find a definite answer. Maybe you can help me on this:
Kc like most of you, pre-paid user din ako. But i can access the GPRS service of globe and in my knowledge pang post-paid lang ito. My question is pag nagumpisa ba mag charge ang GPRS service mawawala ba yun access natin dito? Can we put it back again?
P.S. regarding dun sa myth about "GPRS na umuubos ng prepaid load", in my experience, hindi ito totoo. |

@antonboq
i too spend a lot in prepaid cards...
but you know why i find prepaid better than postpaid..?
if you've got no more credits you stop. |

@gowin
I hope di affected ang GPRS natin after Aug.31. But the odds are against us. Cause we know na aware din naman sila sa access natin. I think they can block us from that particular service. But of course, there will always be a path for us di ba? |
