It's simply a fw restriction. I had the same on my O2 S700.

Will next fw have up to 200-300 restriction?

Cause i cant do larger then 100 kb, and my operator (tele2/comviq) says i can send as large as my phone let me. and she doubled checked it.

So where to turn when wanna complain.

I am afraid it seems that SE may have tightened up the rules on updating and they have made it more difficult to "debrand" even generic type handsets, if you know what I mean. (As from K750)

It just seems harder to get what you want.

I'm interested how you debrand generic type handsets

it does seem that whatever rules SE makes that people find a way around since now it is possible to debrand even branded K750's

@Masseur.

It seems to me that the SEUS no longer updates according to which operator fw, BUT to which country.

E.G. Why do some unbranded handsets, (like in Sweden) have a fw restriction on MMS limits that differs to those in other countries in EMEA?

May be I've mis read but that's what it seems to me.

Even when you have a branded phone, you update it and its still has the same restrictions?

Whats all that about?

Unbranded phones in one country have different MMS restrictions to unbranded phones in another!

@Raja.

Yes but a poster who bought their unbranded K750 from Hong Kong, who has posted in this very thread, has a fw 300kb limit!!

Your unbranded phone has a fw 100kb limit!

EXPLAIN THAT please.

No such problem for me in Australia, I can send up to 300kb in an MMS. Anything bigger than that is the network limit and can't get through.
I only get a warning saying "recipient might not be able to view" then "send anyway?" if the MMS is over 100kb. But yeah I always send 300kb MMS, especially now that my network gives me 100 free MMS a month

My K750i (unbranded) seems to have a much higher limit. I just added a 3gp file that is 1157kb. I didnt try to send it, but there is no prob. adding it. I sent a 402kb picture to my gf's phone and that worked great.
