i am quite happy with the phone but the earpiece volume is too low so need to send it back to O2 and ask for a replacement.

hello everybody

does anyone know: is the usb cable supposed to charge the battery EVERY time i connect it?

if so, is there a way i can disable it?

each time i want to download / upload something to / from the phone, it begins charging, so i'm worried for the battery

thanks

btw, just updated today, mine is Europe_4

Yes! Im happy with the phone. Like a few other posts have said there are afew minor bugs but nothing serious. with regards to the battery and charging when connected to USB, Li polymer and other types of new battery dont suffer the memory effect that blighted the life span of older nimh and nicad types so the battery (should) be alright.

Yes im happy with my K750i. Got it mainly because its probably the first camera phone that can actually live up to the word camera.

The camera is best in good light but the flash/light on it is exceptionally bright. Generally the camera quality is good, and if you spend some time looking at the functions you can get camera quality photo's, but its very easy to get blury and sometimes the whitepoint adjustment is a bit much on auto.

I dont know too much about phones but i looked around for a while and i'd say its the first of the true camera-phone combo's.

I sold my P900 and got a K750
Very happy with it.. no bugs, crashes.. BUT.. I noticed that volume during a call(from the earpiece, not speaker or handsfree) is low, despite being at full volume.. my old P900 was definitely alot louder. Has anyone noticed that? am I the only one?

On some phones it is on others it ain't (don't know why there is a difference). However, the latest FW update seem to have fixed the sound problem for most people.

answering the question of the topic title... I have been surprised that I can't put this phone down and so that immediately says something to me

and its the first phone where my wife has not laughed out loud at the picture quality

just a shame they didn't fit a bigger screen in the space available

Why would you be worried? Its a great feature. It makes sure that your battery gets charge whenever its connected to a powersource - what's not to like or be worried about?

sort of I thought the k700 was a better leap than k750,

besides sony ericsson always seem to leave something lacking not that I'm complaining but in 630 they're were no mp3/amr ringtones, they add that and video in k700 but then no external memory, they added that in k750 but then no symbian

damn you sony ericsson how many generations till we get 'the perfect phone' (at the time I mean )

still I can't complain if it stops crashing >.<
