May i say that the comparison shown on that website are not correct since ALL photos in the comparison are pictures taken inside a room and doesn't have photos with natural light.
Something is missing... |
|
The fact they made the test in conditions without optimal light (natural)emphatizes the results for the k750 - with natural light itīs normal it would perform even better

For further information about CCD- and CMOS-sensors, take a look at CMOS or CCD?.

@B.J.: If you compare two pictures, one taken with a mobile phone camera equipped with a CCD-sensor and one with a CMOS-sensor, I don't think that you can distinguish which picture is taken by which sensor. At least not easily.
If everything else is as close to equal as possible, that is.
But I'm not sure.

OK...but wasn't the question...
if I got to a shop to buy one, how do I know which screen I am getting?
I suppose it will say on the box in the specifications section..

I don't know. But the CCD-technology isn't necessarily better than the CMOS-technology.

No, I'm afraid it wasn't.
The question had nothing to do with the screen. It had to do with the camera sensor-technology.
But I didn't actually answer the origianal question by B.J. correctly. So here's the old question and my new answer:

Personally I don't think that the CCD-version will have a new name, but you never know. The difference between the two versions or pictures taken by the two versions will probably not be noticable by most people.

Yes, that's likely.
Cheers!

Que? What sucks?
If it's CCD versus CMOS you think about then it's most likely nothing to worry too much about. As has been said before, you'll probably not notice any remarkable differences, if any at all.
Enjoy your phone!

hmmmm, well my K750 got slightly buggered over the weekend (autofocus button doesn't work) and its insured, but maybe i'll wait for the CCD edition. no noticeable difference, my K750i takes grainy photo's at times, im sure the matrix on the CCD sensor would eliminate this (due to the fact digital camera's use CCD sensors, or 3 if its a good camera) |

i think that hoax is nothing but crap.. you've known SE vey well, just like by changing some of the features of the t230, they dubbed it already as t290...if that's the case, then for sure ,they'll do the same for the k750i... k755i ny1?
