the girls in Falkirk that served me said PAYG should be £250 but didn't know when.

Nllce, its been released. I didn't expect it would be & we'd have to wait as usual.
Do they have any O2 branding at all? Just startup & shutdown like on K700?

But there is some?
Hopefully they haven't cocked up the SMS receiving again.
PS- The K750 has custom message tones doesn't it?

From what I saw there was an O2 theme and the top-left icon in the main menu ahs a very subtle O2 logo in it when its active. When the icon isn't active as far as I could tell in the brief look I had it looked similar (if not the same) as the standard un-branded icon.
To be honest they've done a really good job. The O2 icon isn't half as noticable as the one in the K700, and they've designed the icon to fit in perfectly with the other icons on that screen, so it doesn't look out of place at all.
At first glance I thought it wasn't branded at all...

@MikLSP, yep. message alert has "no sound", "click", "message alert 1,2,3,4,5,6" and then "Bulls Eye". When positioned on Bulls Eye the right soft key says "replace" and with that you can choose your own sound from ringtones, videoDJ, musicDJ and various other sounds on the phone
@JoolsG4, my unbranded K750 has "Play now" in that position and thats really no better (or worse) than the O2 icon as I will never use it

"Bulls Eye"
I'm guessing thats just the name of the tone that's set there by default?

yeah. not an inspiring one either. sounds just like an arrow hitting a target and vibrating a little as it comes to rest

don't get too excited. its still just music only, not videos.
The K750 has musicDJ, videoDJ and photoDJ
strange though that in the videoDJ application itself I can't find the tunes listed when selecting from there in the message alert settings
