EverQuest --> the first good implementation of a real-time, 3D, perpetual universe, massively-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game (mmorpg) based on the Tolkien/Dungeons & Dragons fantasy genre.
EverQuest is the standard to which all mmorpgs are compared.
