UPDATE
Just to let you all know I'm nearly there on the Pacman Screensaver,
I have an AVI file of the animation between level 2 and 3, its 101x80 and in 256 colours.
My problem is geting it converted to a gif, I have a shareware program that will do the job, but the biggest file it will convert is 100K, my file is 134K.....any ideas gladly recived.

I solved this problem yesterday. You need a program called virtual dub. You'll find it on dvd hack sites(search google). You load the avi into v.dub and then you can save image sequence and voila you have all the frames numbered in a sequence, all you have to do is load the bmp's in sequence to an animating program. I used paint shop pro's one, but I know there are better one's available. You can then tweek the animation to get to a useable size for the t68. Hope this helps.

My problem is not the frames,pixel size or colour depth...
Just format.....anybody got any good AVI>GIF converters out there that could sort out a 140k(ish) file ?

I received the email with the pacman.avi from retronana today and it looks great. I hope that he can get it converted soon. I'm really looking forward to this screensaver, it's gonna be great! Thank you Stephen.
