I have a K700 but wouldn't change it for an S700. The S700 is a very nice piece of kit but it's a little on the large and heavy side, the same reason I got rid of my P800. I like to put my phone in my pocket and forget it's there, the one thing my K700 does that the S700 can't
Oh yeah, the K700 does panorama photos too, S700 can't!

s700 cost me about 7000sek ~ 940usd unlocked
vodafone offered 5500sek ~ 740usd locked with branding
nice price yes^_^
i could have gotten it maybe as low to 850usd but i bought it at first store:P still a high price thought..
i used to have a z600 before and s700 is actually noticeably smaller even if its not by much you feel the difference(using my t39 if i ever want to use a thin phone)

Well,Honestly in the mobile phone world,S700 will be the first for this year, and it brought us a competitive point that others have to handle with it.If we talk this machine with positive or negative thinks alot,so we and others try to buy this thing in a way...And I suppose Sony Ericsson will boost its sales numbers with this model.
When I look its camera options and shots and compare with the camera of Casio,4 mpx I cant manage to say or I cant cheat myself the S700 phone is the top of the list with its specs among the others.

Already did. lol. had it for more than 6 months now.
And it starting to look like an investment since SE doesn't seem to be producing it anymore. Any ideas why?

cor, this threads been dragged through the cobwebs and dusted off Dont really think this thread is relevant anymore as the S700 has dropped so much in price since it has been out for well over a year ?? |

yep still a good 'un, still hanging on to mine but my W800 has kinda pushed it into the bottom drawer for the moment. like to see follow on with the S series though, very well built phone like the t610 |
